Remember one of the best additions the Lions made this off-season. Our new D-Line coach from Tennessee Terrel Williams! He's going to make a huge difference along with our CBs giving the line more time.

If I’m not mistaken I do believe we have 40.5 million dollars left. After the Cam Sutton deal and what was leftover. Brad Holmes knows what he’s doing. He makes for sure he takes care of his players. Great job brother. Go Lions 💥💙

Hopefully we see Gibbs deployed more as a "weapon" like they talked about after the draft. And they've hinted at this again this off-season. Gibbs out of the backfield, Gibbs in the slot, Gibbs & DMo in the backfield at the same time.... the possibilities are endless!

Most of those Lions who you chose to have a breakout season would NOT be a surprise...save Peoples-Jones and maybe Campbell. But I prefer SUPRISE breakout candidates...like the overly TALL guy from BC Canada, Geo Manu. Or perhaps Paschal. But not Vaki as it could mean that either Montgomery or Gibbs is injured. Or Wingo.

Awesome list Mr. Gaz! But I would like to quibble just a bit. I agree with you to remove players who have at least three years and are elite. These guys are already breakout: Jared Goff, Amon-Ra, Penei Sewell. But I would include Aiden Hutchinson in this list. he is only entering his third year. Given the stronger overall team defense, he has the potential of doubling his sack totals from last year into the 20s. So I would replace Sam Laporta with Aiden Hutchinson, because Sam Laporta is pretty much already at his ceiling! How much room is there really for improvement? But this is just a quibble. The list is great!

Let me add that I think you only get one breakout year. 2023 was Sam Laporta’s breakout year. he was excellent from the very first day and he was a rookie! What he did was beyond belief. This year you have rookie Terrion Arnold in your list. It would be awesome to see him have his breakout in his rookie year too. Go Lions!

You're right...I had a hard time justifying LaPorta on this list and that is honestly why i had him at 10. Part of me thinks he could have an even better statistical year this year with the threat of Jamo now being added and teams will be scheming Gibbs as well but its a stretch to call that another breakout. Hopefully the rest of the list worked.

Agree with those two! What a huge boost to the DLine if one if not both got it going this year. Yes could have gone on and may have used a few too many obvious choices pushing a few out that deserve it. Either way what a great spot to be in!

Good vid. There's also this proven starter/vet RCB, who Jordan Love, Purdy and Mahomes, don't like throwing to his side. Why? Because film proves he's sneaky good and the kind of dawg that AG, Brad and Dan endorsed. We just have to see if we can get him a 2 year, not one prove it year, but a 2 year contract somewhere around 10 million. Not sure, but I think they're going to go out and try to get Amik Robertson. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. He's a starter, and NOT at the slot. Praying 🙏

Appreciate you! It will be interesting to see what Amik brings to the table. He should get a lot of opportunity especially early in the season while the rookies adjust. He could certainty earn more time and trust!
