What is great about Adut is that she’s so calm on the runway. It doesn’t feel like she’s trying too hard like a lot of the other girls. She looks like she’s just happy to be doing what she’s doing and is present.

Also, Elizabeth Grace has the BEST pose of any model on the runway, EVER - so elegant, GRACE-ful and beautiful ! John Edwards Exactly my point. Dark skin is not the norm-I stated in the last comment that lighter/mixed race models are more typical. Models trend just as fashion trends. One season may have a model “look” that is popular, the next season, a different look. Admiring one “type” does mean other “types” are less special.

Anok Yai is not number 9 but number 3. She has scored 16 top campaings this is huge and has walked many major runways.

Her career is near the end considering the flop of Victoria Secret and considering she's not good enough to be an icon i the high fashion world. It's not an insult it's reality. She's not really known for being good at editorials. Ok she's the beauty privilege to be on a vogue cover several times. I remembered Carine Roitfeld saying great models don't necessary have great walk and it's true: Freja for example is an average walker but an icon. In this industry, if you want to last, you need the backing of designers and photographers. If you have nothing special, if professionals don't have any particular interest to work with you, you can reach a decent career but don't except to book top campaigns every season and it seems to be the case for Yasmin unfortunately. She can expect commercial contracts but not more. She has done nothing big this season. For example, Lexi Boling is a favourite of Meisel and Prada, Binx a favourite of Wang, Rompaey and Willems of Vuitton .....
