Thanks for watching! The only 2 relevant changes for DPS made since this video going into Update 42 Gold Road are: - The 1pc bonus on Selene was changed from Stamina to Weapon/Spell Damage. This makes it a bit more universal across builds. - The Archdruid Devyric Monster set was introduced. This is a support set but sometimes run on a support DPS, so it may be one to consider for your group.

I would like a monster set with a "Holly/Templar" theme. I know it's not the topic, but many of these sets can be used thematically. There are some that match the Warden, the Dragon Knight or the Sorcerer identity. I think it would be so nice to have something that matches with the templars.

Valkyn Skoria is great. With my sorc it procs constantly. That extra pen is awesome too. With the right build it can slap harder the illambris. And it's follows the target. Only downside is I kill mobs to fast so it doesn't get to go off if the die to quickly

I use Domihaus in SS and HRC in some the fights and works pretty well, nice seeing the shalks hit for an average 40k each. Also if you’re running aegis caller or plaguebreak with it, it’s nasty lol

Just wanna clarify with stormfist a good way of making it hit the correct target is to use an AoE set as well that way when you use the AoE set on your target it becomes pretty reliable to attack your main target. Set I usually Run with Stormfist is Thunder callers. It’s got good spell damage and if you hold your heavy attack creates a pool of lightning under your target

When I get attacked, my Crimson set damages everyone around me, when that happens it triggers Selene fyi. I think any attack triggers Selene from my experience. I can afk mobs with just crimson and selene doing all the work.

One of my favourites is Valkyn Skoria. I don't think it has super high DPS for PvE, but it looks badass and it's always so satisfying to just be doing my DK rotation when all of a sudden a meteor falls out of the sky and bonks my enemy on the head.

thanks! there are 4 damage types, Direct or DoT, and Single Target or AoE. each skill is one from the 1st category and one from the 2nd category. Zaan is DoT, AoE

Hey! I don't know if you answer those comments, but what are your thoughts on Skoria? I want to make a full fire DK (including scribing skills with lingering torment) so it looked kinda useful there. Because I'll have burning up all the time Zaan feels like it wouldn't be peak.

it's pretty meh. dps from it is low even with lots of dots. zaan is better cause each refreshed burning tick deals damage, whereas with just burning going it only ticks every 2s.

To add to my previous answer - how would Runecarver synergize with Deadly Strike? This is a medium set with an emphasis on heavy procs and dots, which I will have.

@ deadly strike is really only good if your spammable is also a channel, like templar and arcanist. runecarver is super good on DK though. I like ansuul/runecarver for a nice ez to run setup.

DID THEY EVER FIX THE SPIDER SILK MORPH SYNERGY?!? The damage the spawned spiders do on my poison build is like almost 20k per bite (swamp raider, briarheart, domehaus, its an older code but it checks out) if a ranged ally can activate the morph but everyone has always said they never see the synergy option.

Have you noticed something with the gold vendor, ZoS will not put the best monster helms there. lol Only tank , healer and old nerfed to the ground helms at the gold vendor. I did public queue for Zaan and it took like 10+ different people rotating out while my self and one other stayed. It was about 2-3 hrs to get 1 helm. Not fun. I still never got a completion for that as I rotated in and they were waiting at the final boss lol. That's one thing I can't get my head around and its "The normal", swapping gear sets in the middle of a run. And think, abilities and items have been tuned around this concept. How about we tune the hardest boss around purple gear and flat stats and everything else is a bonus to players 😮"that would be too OP" lolol I'm sorry, I'm just very salty. I'll go drink my cup of salt over there >
