Oh man big regrets. That’s an amazing card. I really want it but it’s getting so expensive. Just bought the dragonite before it starts to follow suit. Maybe one day you’ll get another leafeon ❤️

Also, are reprinted cards such as lugia v different from the original? can you tell the difference or are they the exact same?

Reprint cards aren’t any different, sometimes the print quality can be better or worse but the artwork itself will not change. Usually a reprint only comes if a set sells better then expected. It seems like nowadays they do 1 large run rather than 2 or 3 smaller runs. Sets like silver tempest are legal for competitive play for another year tho so if they feel some cards are necessary for players, they could reprint a set like silver tempest or lost origin. You can tell this by the letter icon in the bottom left of the card :)

You need to look into some of these things a bit more. Spikes like the Lugia alt art are due to market manipulation by one person named solo ygo on tcg player.

I did mention market manipulation a bit at the start of the video, I've also mentioned in past videos the Lugia can be seeing growth due to playability. Market manipulation is something that I don't really want to touch on cause I don't want to be involved in any of the drama that comes with the hobby. Just here to look at prices and what cards are making moves.

I agree with you on the TG Blazikens I think they are extremely undervalued and the art in those is just as good if not better than the VMAX Alt Art. Obviously the fact that VMAX Alt Art is way harder to pull makes a huge difference in rarity and price and I’m not disputing that. It’s just not my favorite Blaziken either. My favorite card from Chilling is the Moltres V Alt Art, and that Rapidash is up there for me too. Nice video.

Thanks! Yes the Moltress is amazing, my fav card from SWSH as a whole tbh! I feel like we'll see some of the trainer gallery cards moved upwards in a few years when people look back on them. I'm steadily working on the TG master set and can't wait to have it complete!

It's funny, when I wanted to purchase all these the past few weeks all of them jumped in price. I hold off on all of em because it's past my budget now. Luckily I traded for the Espeon just b4 it went up also.

Same with me lol, I was between jobs when they were at that low point and couldn't scoop them, now i have my income back and they've gone up! gonna try to trade for what I can over the next few months. Stoked you got the Espeon, that's in my top 5 that I still need to pick up so hopefully soon!

You mentioned toys r us, they still open in Canada? I thought they went extinct. Great video by the way. It’s only a matter of time now the race for 2nd place will be over taken by far Giratina once the booster box sells out at PC. Im not sure about the Rayquaza, im not a fan of the art, i actually have Lugia from ST as my 3rd place - favorite wise, not value wise lol. And the 3 frame set is 🔥🔥🔥

haha yeah Toys R Us is still in Canada! I think they're struggling pretty hard. Pre pandemic they had good prices and lot's of stuff but now shelves are looking a bit bare and prices on everything, not just pokemon has gone up a lot. Maybe I should do a Toys R Us vlog one day and show off to the Americans out there LOL. Oh yeah I think 2nd place will be interesting going forward. Once that last block of SWSH sets are sold out on PC we'll see the top 3 shuffle. I think it will be Giratina or Gengar sitting strong at number 2/3 with Rayquaza at 4 or 5 come late 2025. Thanks! Pretty proud of that frame, Graded the cards myself and pulled all except for the Moltress. Really happy to have those 3 on display in a 10 for my personal collection!

Just picked up a raw Rayquaza vmax basically traded Giratina v alt art and the Umbreon v for it? Plus 100$ cash on top! Don’t know if it was the best decision but that card is amazing and hopefully it keeps going up

If you paid market value of $50 I think it's a good pickup. A bit of a tricky pull, I feel like they'll reprint Paldean Fates later this year and the card could drop a bit more but over time I'm sure it will increase to over $50 again!

@@Trevor-TCGpersonally Zinnia adds more to the card due to Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire in comparison to the Vmax. I also have it in Japanese too so the texturing isnt as lack luster as it seems.
