Getting to play Jeff jones at my last regionals was so fun. He's such a cool dude. He was there with voltage gaming and if you beat him in a match you could win a free mat, and with a deck i built myself I got him under a natural beast and dark law lock down as he was playing nekroz. sadly lost the match. But still, fantastic guy.

Galy should be up here on this list in the top 5 since he won worlds in 2010, 3rd place in 2011, and 2nd place in 2015. hes the only person to have done that in yugioh history and has topped central americas wcq quite a few times.

In Dublin this year, when the 2015 European Championships were held, the night before the event the team from Germany came to the same venue that me and the Irish players were testing in, and I had the great pleasure of testing against Gruner for ages. He's really a great guy, well deserving of his spot on this list.

@ChaosMan77719 жыл бұрын
+Soundwave I like newgioh because of the experimentation, uniqueness, innovation, and creativity in it, as opposed to the grind of goats. as far as other formats, he also played during a format in which he revolutionized DDT in north America from japan, and got second place at an sjc because of him joking in the game winning moment.

Kris is a fucking genius!!! He is one of the very few players that has actual skill at playing against the player and not the cards! I have played him many times in many formats and have only won twice... He has many accomplishments and I am saddened that such a player did not even get mentioned ahead of Hoban... He may not all the time be very polite (mostly people view him as condescending but they do Jarrel as well) but he is a Damn fine player that is willing to go the extra mile to teach anyone and I mean anyone how to improve at the game and learn the best way to approach a format/tournament! Side note I'm pretty peeved that Fili isn't number 1 I mean 4 SJC wins c'mon that's never been replicated neither here nor anywhere else on earth!!!
@JRJuggernaut19 жыл бұрын
I was hoping Mike Kohanim would be on here, but I am glad he at least got an honorable mention, as he went to my locals during all the years I played and I feel he is one of the most intelligent yugioh players out there. Also fun fact, Jerry Wang once top 8'd a regional while being so hungover that he couldn't figure out what all of his cards did, though I have yet to confirm that last part. I actually played him at a regional once after starting off 3-0 and he just outplayed me both games, I will never forget it!

AQ list without Adam Corn isnt a real list. Corn has invented so much to the lifestyle of yugioh and was the best player during the most skilled era of the game. He might have been banned 2 times but he had often deck checks before. Whenever you read a featured match including Corn you will see that he was always better than his opponents.
