Kinda bummed that Medievil, Star Wars: Dark Forces, and Loaded didn't make it on here. I'm happy that Syphon Filter did. Overall as a soon to be 30 year old man I probably played at least a quarter of these ( Would be Half but only through Playstation Magazine when the demos were released and when the trailer were announced).

I wish you could do every console and handheld based on gameFAQs list, I think it's the best top list for non-PC games

About two years ago, some overzealous lawyer from Konami (or at least pretending to be) sent this channel a takedown notice for this clip. The clip of the game either hand to be removed, or the whole video would have been taken down by KZbin. KZbin support was zero help and told us that we had to either comply or risk losing the content completely. So it was blurred out.

There are other Konami titles on this list, so it's really suspicious! We were more annoyed with KZbin because they just caved and made us block out the clip!

There was another game it was like an rpg. I remember a very iconic cutscene where some magicians summon the devil. He then comes up from a portal on the ground and stonps the men who summined him to death with his big ass black hand with red stripes and sharp long claws.. some one remember?

Jeez, i cant believe that Suikoden 1/2, Syphon Filter 3, Kula World, Front Mission 3, Mortal Kombat, Ape Escape, Tomba 1/2, Vampire Hunter, Diablo, Blood Omen Legacy of Kain, Pro Evolution Soccer 2, Fifa 2000, Broken Sword and so many are not sold more than some horse racing. *WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?*

Lots of mediocre games have bigger marketing campaigns and big money backing them, and a lot of great games will remain in obscurity because they don't get as much exposure and have to rely more on word-of-mouth. Plus most people are herd animals and casuals who tend to go for what's popular at the time.

Guys please i cant be the only one who played this game. I dont knowa the name of it. But i remember the first mission you are an agent or somth like that. You jump out of a plane and land on a moving train. Your pistol looks like a watergun and it shoots yellow darts traveling slowly. There were enemies who had mortars and bazookas, there were submarine mussions the submarine was fat and yellow... Like cmon someone must remember this.. please help me out i really want to find this game

This is one of the tragedies of the PS1. Although rated very high critically, Symphony of the Night did not sell very well at all. The claim is that people were all into this new fangled "3D" thing, and just didn't show an interest in SOTN. A real shame, that.
