Sarah Maclean is probably my favourite Romance author. Elizabeth Hoyt was amazing when she started but her latest books aren't so good, in my opinion. Lisa Kleypas is amazing I especially loved "Dreaming of you". Jennifer Ashley is another fave of mine, especially this series is astonishing.

Okay so you've read Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas. Have you read historical Catherine Coulter? Jude Devereaux? Judith McNaught has awesome hooks!! Robyn Carr, Barbra Longley.

I only started reading Lisa Kleypas in November, but now I want to read everything she's ever written. I've read all the Wallflower series and really enjoyed them all, but I'm two books into the Hathaways series and I'm *obsessed*. Seduce Me at Sunrise is my favourite, the angst is sublime, the way the characters love each other is incredible. Win and Merripen forever, oh my god. Yes, When a Scot Ties the Knot! I love Tessa Dare's books, I can't wait for The Bride Bet to come out. I love historical romance so much so I'm excited to read all the books on this list!

I would highly recommend The Proposal by Mary Balogh or any of her Historical Romance novels. Mary is my all time favourite author with Eloisa James second and Loretta Chase third. Honorable mentions are Sherry Thomas, Anne Gracie and Grace Burrowes. There are so many HR books to read written by so many excellent authors! The Bridgerton series on Netflex is an excellent introduction to this gendre!

If you like amnesia romance, the 80s movie Overboard with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn is a rec if you haven't seen it! She screws him over, and after she gets amnesia, he tricks her into thinking she's his wife to get revenge. One of my favorite movies! And then Once More My Darling Rogue by Lorraine Heath basically has the same plot as Overboard, but it's historical lol. So you might like that!

I can't wait to see your review/reaction for Devil in Winter!! It's my second favorite historical romance ever. Also, I finally gave in and started Kerrigan Byrne's "The Highwayman" since you've raved about her so much. I'm a couple chapters in and...it's so good!! Why I waited so freaking long to pick up one of her books, I do not know.

Devil in Winter is one of my favorite books EVER, so I definitely wouldn't be surprised if it ends up making your list. :) If you're interested in looking at some indie historical romance authors, some of my favorites are: Elisa Braden (she gets better and better with every book OMG!), Grace Callaway, Mia Vincy, Scarlett Scott, and Victoria Vale (she has a few great darker romances), and Sierra Simone also has a few historicals.

My favorite historical romances to read are also the spinster/wallflower and the fallen woman/lower class lady. I loved An Extraordinary Union by Alyssa Cole. You should check out Alyssa Cole’s Highlander historical interracial romance (bw/wm), Agnes Moor’s Wild Knight. It’s nothing I’ve ever read before. I love Highlander romance and never read one with a black heroine before. I hope she writes more and I hope they’re are more out there from other authors. I loved Destiny’s Surrender!

was sure you were going to describe the hero as a member of the Amnesia Squad, a dedicated troop of civil servants in the front line of the city's fight against the epidemic of amnesia. and then - in the same spirit - was expecting the sex worker to go through some sort of Amnesia training to be able rejoin the ranks of proper society. Enjoy watching your videos - thx and Happy Holidays.

I absolutley love When a Scot Ties the Knot (the other books in the series are pretty good too). Tessa Dare is a new favorite of mine and I want to read everything she has ever wrote! Have you read any Mary Balogh? She is really good and also a favorite of mine. Particularly Simply Love (probably my fav of hers). Another author I recommend though with some caution is Virginia Henley. She is a history major and sometomes it really showed. Also, she had some weird stuff in her books but I really enjoyed most of them.
