Hi, great list as always! I think that luthen should've been included, he is insane, so much flexibilty, turning rebel fighter teams into gl killers and being a pain to deal with on defense!

luthen’s dc isn’t that impactful in the teams he can already beat, from what I understand. Pao’s dc is much more consequential for the mom mothma variant of the team

really good ranking for sure, but GAS at 4 is CRAZY work, from my perspective he just isn't pulling the same weight compared to these new generation teams. But thats really my only gripe, hard to judge stuff like baylan at the moment with datacrons

Luthen/Ezra > Malgus. Luthen is the least omi dependent GAC omi character and beats far more GLs than Sith Empire. Ezra is like a Jedi Malak, he does a ton of stuff that just makes the other team have a bad time and he can go on a wider variety of team. Erza with JKR/CK/JKL beats every GL but SEE generally for good banners.

Good list, but there’s a few things that would make it perfect: I think GAS should be out of the top 5. He’s not meta-defining enough to warrant a top 5 spot anymore. Still a great toon, but I’d place him in the top 10 or top 15. No Luthen on this list almost criminal given how that with either Saw OR Mothma he consistently beats meta teams or gets great holds on defense. Luthen for me is Top 10. Insane character. I think Ezra Exile should be higher. With Rey you are forced to throw either a GL like Leia or Cere SK Malicos, which isn’t a guaranteed success. There’s gameplay from another KZbinr named Vexitron that showed Exile one tapping Malicos with his second special. Ezra elevates Rey to a higher level than what you stated imo. And finally, you didn’t give our lord and savior CUP number 1 😔

A lot of people are lamenting Luthen’s absence, but I really don’t think he’ll be that special without his own datacrons. And for Ezra… the argument that he is a SECOND conquest lifter to GL Rey doesn’t really sway me to make him higher 😅

He probably even is the better lifter to rey as ben doesnt shut down the cheapest counter to rey .. and to JML as Well probably better than JKCK .. so ezra at 21 i dont know doesnt seem valid to me ​@@songeta

@songeta Luthen has been dominant even without datacrons. He’s a strong buffer to the RF faction, helps MM and Saw beat GLs like Rey and LV, and Saw/Luthen require a strong team (like Malgus/DTMG/BKM) to take out even without his current datacron. Ezra might be a second Rey lifter, but he’ll be guaranteed to go higher once Ahsoka is added. Even without Ahsoka, Ezra makes Rey much more difficult to counter, and if you make a team much more difficult to counter, that’s a very high positive. On offense he also makes quick work of multiple GLs with the Jedi faction. Also, GAS, as mentioned earlier, shouldn’t be in the Top 5. More like the Top 15. All in all, still a good list. Me and others may have their different variations of it, but still a well put together video 👍

I think CAT and GAS are a bit too high at this point, they're both pretty versatile but neither of them can anchor or carry a super great team at the highest levels of the game. Especially because characters like Luthen (snubbed from the entire list) and Starkiller can both beat several GLs as the foundation of their respective teams.

I think once their datacrons leave it will be more evident that Baylan is better. To be fair, he demolishes JMK cat, and any sith empire comp. That to me is more value than the base version of GM

As someone who has Baylan can confirm that you can beat every GL pretty easily without DCs. Do need good mods for the Leia match though. Also can confirm that you can beat JMK with Great Mothers without DCs being involved.

I’m not convinced he’s anything groundbreaking without the impact of significant datacron influence. For a while he was great under set 16, but that was mainly the interaction of Saw and the support Cron. Now he has his own datacron that directly props him up

Always appreciate these videos. Even though every one of your list rankings seem to have at least one or two major head-scratchers. Namely: - GAS at #4 in today’s game is absolutely wild. - Luthen not cracking the top-25 when you have CLS & Aphra on there?? - DR/Malak ahead of QA?? QA should be in the 11-14. And her trio as a whole is top 10.

Reva was "nerfed" because at launch, every enemy was permanently at 6 stacks of purge and could go over 6 stacks of purge, resulting in full auto every GL performance. But that was just a bug fix.

Darth Malgus must have dropped 2 spots too, in order to have 2 newcomers above him and otherwise he'd have been in the same spot as Maul. (what is it with Dark siders and M-starting names? Malgus, Malak, Maul, the Malevolence, Magnaguard, Mara Jade, Marrok, Moff Gideon, Merrin, ...) Surprised of the Jedi in the top 5. I didn't think he'd be that high. Off the top 5, easiest to get. I'd think (with Omicrons), QA, Starkiller, Great mothers, would be above.

Great mothers being easily farmable makes their value so high. Out of the top 25 only 2 characters are just node farmable. I think they are a must get for any roster

I dont believe Gm should be that high, without morgan elsebeth she would be so easy to kill. Ofcourse she has usefull abilities, but elsebeth has similair defensive stats to that of Malgus himself, with having the same base protection, and nearly same base health, and she has a defense stat of 61. Also she regains almost all of her health when someone goes under stealth.

The fact they didn’t nerf Reva actually annoys me. They claimed they nerfed GAS because non GL charters are not supposed to beat GLs. Meanwhile I guess it’s okay if Reva does it. 😒
