Not too long ago, last year sometime, my daughter and I went to Sherman's and on our way out I picked up a matzo ball soup for one of my little patients in Barstow who was a 94 year old lady from Brooklyn (she passed last month) who was grateful to have some yiddish soul food whenever she could. On the way out the door, Butterfingers here, dropped the whole thing! The staff was kind enough to completely replace it at no charge! Oh, was my patient thrilled!

We live in the Phoenix, area and travel thru Palm Springs, on our way to Disneyland! We now, have a new place to eat! Looks delicious. Quick story, on our way to Disney, our tire blew out , by Palm Springs, it was 127 degrees out!! no lie, there was even a heat wave in Anaheim, too

Oh my goodness! Look at all those cakes on the menu!!! I have to tell my parent's about this place, and maybe we can eat there for lunch when we visit Palm Springs for our vacation. Also check out Great Shakes. It's on Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs. My co-worker told me to get the Smore's shake, and it was delicious! Mine was a small cup, and it came with a donut. Lastly, the inside of that place is pretty retro, and neat looking. :)

I ate there once, and split the sandwich with my husband. But it was still too thick to eat. So I started pulling out 2/3 of the meat off the sandwich first. Then we went into their bakery and took home a box of several smaller treats. I’m with you Katie, give me cheese cake and chocolate any time!

Katie, I was looking this deli up and came across a picture of someone getting pastrami and putting it between 2 latke’s!! You should get this next time and try this with the applesauce and sour cream!

Great eateries to visit: Shields Date Garden, has a great cafe, garden to walk off your breakfast and a small theater showing the history of dates. The Sandwich Spot Palm Springs, TKB Indio, Upper Crust Cathedral City, El Patron Palm Springs.
