The Total Solar Eclipse Experience! - April 8th, 2024 - Totality in Indianapolis, Indiana

I had the incredible opportunity to see the rare total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024 from Indianapolis, Indiana! This is an incredibly rare event when the Moon passes directly in front of the Sun. I tried to get a few angles of the experience in this video.
Unfortunately I did not get much footage of totality itself. I was using new equipment and a hyper-zoom lens which I totally messed up when taking the optical filter off.

I am so happy for you. I traveled to Cape Girardeau for this eclipse. To me, totality is the most profoundly beautiful sight available in nature. It is like standing on the surface of another planet. Picture and video do not come close to experiencing it with your own eyes. It made me laugh and cry. For me personally, a reminder of the glory of God and the beauty of His creation.
