Good to see Tyler's face on the back of the boat! Great video and thanks for sharing your thought process!

Swing heads work anywhere you’re throwing a free rig (which I see you pitching a beaver- not a crapala bronco bug- props) but if you got some rock and grass don’t ever think a swing head won’t catch em, especially if you throw in hops to let that bait stand and fall on a pause..or if it’s a floating bait on the pause give it time to rise- then incorporate multiple hops- let sit and rise again, then drag - repeat. I’ve found a swing head can be a shakey head, t rig, neco, and crankbait (figuratively speaking) if you know a few tips and tricks with them, especially if you fish a lighter one on a 6’10 medium baitcaster or 7’3 medium heavy spinning rod to can get real creative - more creative than I think most have put the time in to figure out

I love to see everyone up shallow catching them how we used to catch them. What’d MLF make this a shallow contest?? Ratings that bad? Reviews and comments all the same…so they make a small fish fishery a “up shallow” tournament I didn’t see anyone hardly using FFS… way more entertaining… my boy Skeet Reese making a huge return

Here’s one you can use about your dad’s age: He’s been tournament fishing since before they invented boats. I love old jokes cause I’m old.
