The Tour at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in July of 2019

I revisited this unique and living history aviation museum in the City of Hamilton. The museum is an only 1-hour drive from the City of Toronto, Ontatio, Canada. This museum has many aircraft displays that are airworthy which include the Avro Lancaster which it is one of two flying Lancaster bomber are still flying in the world.

Where did your Lancaster come from? Was it ever a water bomber that ended up in Scotland for a number of years?

It actually crashed and was restored to then become a maritime patrol aircraft in the rescue unit Torbay in Newfoundland.

It retired in 1963 and is now fully restored and is at the Hamilton Warplane Museum at Hamilton Airport (CYHM).
