Derry musician Phil Coulter played 'The Town I Love So Well', written about his native city, as the coffin carrying the remains of Nobel Laureate John Hume were carried from St Eugene's Cathedral.
Mr Hume, who was instrumental in the peace process in Northern Ireland, died earlier this week at the age of 83.
The former SDLP leader won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1998 alongside then UUP leader David Trimble for their efforts to end violence in Northern Ireland.
