Asalaamu Alikum Brother I wish the best Insha Allah thanks for this great project and wish to share with Historical back ground about these city and other East African and the great Islamic civilization .For much of the 13th century the most important coastal town was Mogadishu, WarShiekh , Jazeria, Jilib Maerca, Merca, Brawa a mercantile city on the Somalian coast to which new migrants came from southern Arabia ( Yemen and Oman ). The Islamic scholars who built the foundations of these civilizations is the interaction of the coastal population those who migrated to the east African coast . Shiekh Abiikar Mixdaar one of the great scholars well known teaching Islamic studies and spreading the Islam ,the Sheikh and other scholars is from from Hadramout Yemen , city called Tariim . If you look what is left from the building of the coast you can see the architectural inspiration of these buildings was Arab, their craftsmanship was of a high standard, and the grammar of their inscriptions was impeccable .The city of WarShiekh had a great civilization built in diversity culture , local people ,immigrants etc.

The town needs to be declared a heritage & conservation area and protected from commercial development. That is if people are smart. But knowing Somalis they will build a houses and hotel directly on the each blocking off access and ruining the town. Tiny Israel has 400 national parks & nature reserves!!

S Hussein yeah there is plans to build a hotel there but hopefully the heritage will be kept. If anyone wants to set up an initiative to do that it would be great!
