Very interesting. I can say as someone born and raised in England, that the English language is very decieving, and is often unable to translate accurately from other languages. I don't believe these people are "witches". I believe this negative connotation has been attched to these people during colonial times, which obviously would have aided in the seperation of the people in order to conquer them.
