Joseph, Moses etc in the bible weren't considered witches but spoke with spiritual beings. Herbalist is natural herb doc. Native doc is Spiritual doctor a.k.a Babalawo

witchcraft and sorcery is exactly why nigeria and tanzania are lagging behind in africa. don't get me wrong. there's witchcraft in many places worldwide but when it comes to africa, beware of nigeria and tanzania. Outside of africa beware of brazil, mexico, india, usa, romania, china and haiti. Common outcomes in countries /places where wichcraft is prevalent are: poverty, under development, illiteracy, high level corruptio (usa/china) the places are abandonned by young people, ritual murders take place etc. Common forms of spirituality include ancestor worship, spirit worship, astral travel, familiar spirits etc. beware of white women in the usa. they are the worst followed by asian MEN.

Very interesting. I can say as someone born and raised in England, that the English language is very decieving, and is often unable to translate accurately from other languages. I don't believe these people are "witches". I believe this negative connotation has been attched to these people during colonial times, which obviously would have aided in the seperation of the people in order to conquer them. Thanks again for your hard work❤️🖤💚

I live in the United States, and also believe that the English language is very deceiving ( on purpose). I also have had friends from various ethnic backgrounds who have tried to explain a concept to me from their culture but will say, "there really is no accurate word to translate in English". It makes me think about how my world view has probably been skewed based on language limitations...

Christianity and English keeps mistranslating so much and then they totally misunderstand what they mistranslated and corrupted. Prophets are not witches. They are totally different. A medicine man/ woman is also different and not a witch. English confuses a lot of different things. Too many people have a very bad habit of grouping together many different things under a one word catchphrase.

What is the correct translation of Ilu Aje? The villagers don't seem to oppose it meaning witch.
@anthoniasegun7000 Жыл бұрын
What has Christianity had to do with this? Did Christianity gave it the name ilu aje? Or was the king of that village a Christian? Is Aje not really a witch?

@anthoniasegun7000 Witch is an English word that Christianity gave to a lot of men and especially women, as an excuse to kill them. Are the people in this town the Christian's idea of evil people who serve "satan"? Or are they more like medicine men/women (healers) and have Sacred knowledge?
