Quilva In my point of view he is the most evil character. The story points towards the voice beeing the architect (the 7th boss that you cant fight). So he basically built a prison so complex for the Stranger/Rider that he managed to lock himself up. So the only way he could escape was to release the Stranger and hoping he would turn good during all the fights.

The Voice was definitely The Architect, the boss he "Took care of for you, as his end of the deal". He was probably meant to be a Guardian, but didn't want to be locked up his whole life guarding Rider, and so he broke Rider out and used him to free himself to see his daughter again.

The Song is an angel-like figure. She helped conceive the prison (but I don't think she conceived all the parts of the prison, just the nicer-looking parts). And she is relatively warm to you, even in the fight, right up until the last couple of phases. What gets me is that final five to seven seconds where she opens her arms, awaiting the real deathblow by The Rider. If she is really described as arrogant and self-righteous (and I can believe that is true part of the time for her), why open her arms? What's with that look in her eyes before she shuts them? Perhaps I'm reading too deeply into it or I'm missing a piece of lore; but even in her last moments... she did not seem arrogant, nor self-righteous. Not like The Voice was making her out to be.

Radiant Markoth might be the single hardest boss I have ever fought in gaming, including all the souls titles except Sekiro. It was not designed to actually be beatable since they just made radiant a gamemode and not a remake of the actuall boss. There was no thought given to how Markoth could go from an intermediate to an almost impossible boss if given the right conditions.

So Ive really liked all the furi tracks so far up to this point in the game- and I absolutely suck at the game so I heard them all a TON by this point. But when this track kicks in, it INSTANTLY fucks, grabs my fucking brain in a vice grip. Im bopping and vibing so hard I decide not to walk directly out just so I can hear it. Then I walk out and the song ends IMMEDIATELY and I think "NOOO" because I assume the boss is next and I wont get to hear it again. But then a miracle! She extends an offer to you and you get control again and THE SONG IS BACK So im vibing again, decide to take a look around the area, maybe walk back and see if the voice has anything to add. He's no longer here and she keeps repeating herself. So i let it walk me back so I can start the fight. But i get back to her and somethings wrong. A cutscene begins, shes telling me i made the right choice- no! That isnt what i wanted to do! I JUST WANTED TO HEAR THE MUSIC AND SEE IF THE VOICE WAS BACK THERE! It's too late. The credits are literally already rolling. She says she'll be mine forever, but it feels hollow and contrived. The game completion screen taunts me. "CONGRATULATIONS! You chose peace!" My one hope is that when im booted back to the home screen it'll load me at the save point right before I meet her. NOPE. START OVER AGAIN FUCKO. Now, im not a good furi gamer. It took me ten hours of playtime to get to that point (if you can believe it- though a good chunk of that was on my steam deck which mightve been fucking me up with input latency.) So knowing I had to restart was kicking me while i was down. Somehow i got back in about an hour and some change. And that's the story of how I vibed to a song so hard I accidentally got the alternate ending.

Finally. I finally got to use this song in D&D, and recreated the moment of the picture shown. You might wanna skip this comment, because I detail *everything* . I recommend reading this from start to end with the song playing from start to end as well, because I wrote it while doing that, and reading it that way makes it better for me when re-reading it. So, here goes: My players, to sum it up, are sorta... special, in a good and bad way. They're rarely serious, which is hard to work around sometimes, but when they are, it's easily one of the best experiences I've ever had. We're running a campaign where you do everything from passively sailing the open seas, to fighting a dragon in order to save a continent from near certain doom, to finding out who's really pulling the strings of a massive, sprawling city, the center of the world, some may call it. It's always super fun, and the adventures get crazy. The overarching story is very simple, but I'm slowly advancing it, and it came to its peak, giving me a euphoria I've never felt before. essentially, they told me they wanted to visit another dimension, seeing as they were all level 14 or a bit higher and wanted something to do. So, I sent them to the first layer of the Nine Hells. But that isn't the purpose of today's story. Instead, it's the place they accessed it from. Essentially, they went asking certain powerful figures for a dimensional door to extra-planar realms, and found one to the aforementioned dimension. They battled through Waves of enemies, from wizards to demons from the portal, everything you could imagine just to get through. And, finally, after beating their last enemy, they got to see The Room. It was a door, with a large ivory frame, and a purplish-blue light coming from under the door itself. Nothing too absurdly fancy, but clearly special and very magical. They opened the door, and found that just beyond its foundation, was a massive circular portal. And they jumped through. And what they saw, was so powerful, I don't think I can top it. "and here you see... you see the first humans. You see them start to evolve, before the explosion of finding out how to use tools. They very quickly grow into massive tribes, followed by starting civilizations, and then, cities. You see empires rise and fall, you see magic start to become popular, and then, you see... yourselves. You see your starting journeys, from the very beginning, talking to and finding each other, before setting out on your adventure. You see everything you've done so far, from talking to fighting, and you see that development, that evolution, just like the first ever humans. And then, you see yourselves approach this very place, armed to the teeth and ready to fight your way to another dimension, one way or another. You see yourselves enter, fight your way in, and reach it. Then you see yourselves jump. The cylinder you're in clears below you, opening up, revealing a fire-y inferno filled with creatures you only recognize from fighting them before and books. Some run at you, and you easily dispatch them almost without a thought. Some writhe on the floor, slowly crawling toward you, begging for you to end them. So, what do you do?" Yeah, they defeated the final boss of the first layer of the Nine Hells. They're descending a floor now, and I can't wait for the next session, because I have great things planned.
