I believe that Zach would be an excellent addition to the OKC Thunder team. The Bulls are in need of a rebuilding phase and must be patient to see it through. Thankfully, OKC has a wealth of draft picks that they can use to their advantage when it comes to trades. Although it may take some time for the team to become contenders, it's important to start somewhere if you're the Bulls.

It’s a real fallacy to believe that the Bulls aren’t going to have to attach draft capital to move Zach’s deal. All these trade proposals are only good for Chicago-and royally screw the other teams. Unless you attach draft capital, it’s basically a Ben Simmons situation. Wait until next year, and if LaVine hasn’t been moved, you will witness firsthand just how much this contract will cripple the Bulls flexibility. Throw in draft picks & trade avenues open.

I’ve been trying to work out something like your last trade all season. I think there’s also an opportunity there to send out Vucevic if that helps the team, basically the same trade but with Vuc and Wiggins included as well. I know Wiggins had a bad year but his contract isn’t terrible anymore for a low level starter or 6th/7th man that’s not completely horrendous. I think the deal can be done with Draymond as well, but I personally don’t want him on the team and I think the warriors would be less likely to move him than Wiggins.

He will be in a Bulls uniform until he is healthy minimum and I’m not interested in keeping Embiid “happy” because we’re both in the East. None of the players mentioned come close to what Zach brings to the table. How about a Derozan sign and trade for Two Way SF Herb Jones (NOLA) and figure out how to include 3&D PG Jose Alvarado. We would improve our shooting and our defense. This is also the he deal I would offer in exchange for Zach as well. Anything less isn’t worth trading Zach. I’d see what ATL is talking about pertaining to Murray.
