"The Tragedy of 1904" is a musical depiction of the so called "Ålesund Fire": a huge fire that struck the city of Ålesund, Norway on January 23rd, 1904. This catastrophe is highlighted throughout this six movement piece, in six movements without a break.
Commissioned by Aalesunds Ungdomsmusikkorps (Norway), as their own choice piece on the Norwegian Wind Band Championships 2020.
