What we are seeing is someone who was born to awful parents who did terrible things to them who has decided to take that trauma and act in ways that will only give them more pain and suffering. In many ways, Venus doesn't know how to be healthy emotionally and mentally and might not want to. It is very depressing to watch someone destroy themselves like that.

I just want to add that most “fatherless” statistics are often related to the fact that households without a father a more likely to be extremely poor. There are studies conducted that prove that when money isn’t the factor, children in fatherless households are as likely to succeed as children with a father figure. I am a father myself and I do believe that my presence in the life of my son is very beneficial and I’m trying my best to be a great father but the “fatherless” stats should be shown complete, including the ones that take out the financial part out of the equation (and not just the American ones that do not).

Thank you for talking about this. I came from an abusive household. My sister got the worst of it. She ended up getting into sex-work without telling me, and ended up taking her own life. It haunts me to this day. She lost herself, and it absolutely destroyed me. It disgusts me how people encourage this kind of lifestyle, not caring about the horrible consequences that others will have to face.

Man, remember when Venus separated from Margo and everyone was like 'yay, now she can finally live a normal life'...yeah. We should have all seen this coming. Even if Margo was DIRECTLY responsible for Venus's early pandering to pedos and instructed her on how to do it most effectively, I think that she did want to protect Venus's 'pure and innocent' image because she was well aware of how much innocence is fetishized in Japan, and getting there to become an aidoru or housewife or something was always a goal for Margo. Venus knew she could cash in on that image by defiling it but also now she has nowhere to go but down - she can't go back to her pure & innocent image because it's been tainted, and also even if she was never physically sexually abused as a child, she has been receiving messages from old men telling her the sexual shit they want to do to her since she was a pre-teen - I think she genuinely believes this is all her audience ever wanted out of her.

I have been aware of Venus, for a majority of her online existence. I read up on how her mother was abusive, and I felt sorry for her. Her mother didn't need to abuse her in order to make money. Venus would probably been even more productive if she had a supportive mother. Anisa crinkling her face at hearing Venus say she was throwing up 15 times a day, and stating she is lying. Fuckin' hell, sounds legit for someone who apparently had an ED for like 6 months. So much sympathy, compassion and understanding from the nicest woman on earth, Anisa. Venus is clearly very damaged, and it is so sad she felt the need to start doing prostitution. She was very sweet and talented, and this won't help her recover from her trauma. She just found a way to monetise it.

Before the only fans stuff she tried making normal blog videos but her creepy coomer “fans” weren’t watching those. So down the sad only fans hole she went. Her mom is a sick person, and unfortunately Venus has taken on some of her bad traits. I really hope she can set her life right one day. The short periods of time when she was seemingly getting on the right track she seemed much happier. Her mom only ever saw her as a cash cow and not her child. I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that someone is dysfunctional because they're willing to be openly sexual. That's assuming that a women who is normal and 'in her right mind' will stay modest and hide her body. You can enjoy sexuality and flaunt your body whether you had a good, or shitty childhood.
@HazyPinkSky
@HazyPinkSky 3 жыл бұрын
It’s a very slippery slope to me. Pornography should not be synonymous with being openly sexual imo, people should always be as openly sexual as they desire but to commodify that is inherently dangerous and exploitative. the industry of pornography and prostitution only hurts women, both individually and societally. Some women may find it is “empowering” to them but it is almost always done under financial duress which is damaging and it’s misleading that the women have the power. SW’ers should be protected and given ways to exit the industry and be supported and people need to stop normalizing and supporting porn altogether.

And today I find out that she has OF My heart breaks for her. I hope she finds the light. I lost my father and had to deal with an abusive "mother" and "brother"... Despite some great points, it's a bit much to say this would have been avoided if she had *two* parents (specifically a dad), what she needed was no abusive parents. Whilst two is ideal, one loving parent can raise a healthy and happy child. Two mums (or two dads) can also.

@Eevee* I know they're less likely to, based on the fact a correlation between being fatherless and negative outcomes has been found. But I hoped she would have talked about whether this likelihood is impacted by other factors. Like I said: she can't claim this would all be avoided if she had a dad.. it's such a large generalisation. Based on what we've heard, her dad may have been abusive too, so that would have made it worse. I stand by my point, what she needed was no abusive parents. Parenting style and social support (can be grandparents, step-parents or friends etc) is equally or possibly more important than the number of parent, these variables can easily be confounders in the statistics she mentioned.
@bethanysmith609
@bethanysmith609 2 жыл бұрын
@Eevee* I know what a good man is like without a dad? My partner is amazing. All my friends with fathers have been in toxic relationships with guys... So there must be other factors at play, than the number/gender of parents, that can impede or buffer against children's outcomes and mental health. Whilst I get what you mean, not having a father may be one factor, however, the personality/parenting of the father will likely mediate this relationship, the ability for the mother or other family members to model loving relationships to the child will likely moderate it. Overall, the assumption that Venus' problems would be erased if a father was placed into the equation is just a bit of a stretch (i.e. a reductionist argument).

I don’t disagree with what your saying, but as a single mom of a daughter, it’s difficult to watch and not because of me thinking about my daughters future but because not everyone has the privilege of having a two parent home. When the dad is bad news it’s much better for him to absent than to be present. It almost feels like a shaming single moms, maybe not the intention but that’s how it comes across. I also think girls growing up with same sex parents are perfectly fine, so it may have something to do with the shared responsibility of parenting and not necessarily the sex of the parent.

3:13 reminds me of my own childhood, where I lived in a single parent household. My mom would threaten my twin and I with knives, verbally and physically abuse us, and threaten to kick us out constantly (until she finally did at 18). The broken home explanation you gave is 100% spot on, as I went through feelings of severe loneliness due to lacking a father and having a broken home (and even growing up in a cult as well). I constantly was looking for affirmation from other people, looking to be desired as you mentioned at 1:50. Even as a married woman now, I still have those feelings creep up. My twin took the opposite route (now she hops from sugar daddy to sugar daddy and sells nudes) and I can't help but feel that's why. People really under estimate the horrible effects single parent homes cause.

Yes there are many children out there who don't have fathers but it's not the fault of the children and they shouldn't be made to feel like they're going to be a problem because of something that was out of their control. You're putting into their minds that they're going to have all these issues because they didn't have a father and that is so reckless! I personally have seen many people grown up without fathers who grew up with none of these issues you speak of! For all those fatherless kids out there, stay strong and know that you can become anything you set your mind to - YOU have the ability to do that!

Even worse, in front of a perverted audience that's literally fapping to you acting like a baby. Don't give me that "I had to feed my children so I became a prostitute" narrative. I lived without parents since I was 16, got offered money to dance and never accepted something so degrading. I used to work 2 jobs but that is where the problem lies. You want more money. Not just money. There is always a way out but you do not want to waiter and clean you want to sit your lazy useless ass and get money. I would rather eat from a trash can then eat a lobster with a money that has a sperm on it. I actually know cam girls and people who held strip clubs and did amature porn- every single one was a broken soul. When you are 18, 20 yo you think you are so smart for using the system and making easy money and then at 30 you are chewd up, abused and look like you are in your 40s. You settle down since no man who respects himself wants you and you have drug or alcohol addiction. All these girls are either new to it or they lie becouse they are ashamed of their own choices and too proud to say it. There is no such thing as a happy prostitute. Every woman would rather be educated, respected and valued but they have to lie to themself's and public so they can look at themself's in the mirror and not want to trow up. All the symptoms for CSA are symptoms of PTSD. All of them. The info in this vid is actually making me realize some things about myself. This is Interesting: The Little Girl Voice isn't even reliant on the trauma being s*x*al in nature. I suffered a non-**xual trauma right, and I mean RIGHT before the onset of puberty and I catch my vocal pitch going up, and my speaking cadence changing, and have to consciously correct it at 30 years old. I'm a man but it's the same concept. Speech reverts, probably because the memories of that time are so distinct. I don't know many people who remember things as specifically as I do from like 6/7th grade. I don't think my parents were abusive, but what I went through took up all the space in my head so I wasn't watching people my own age getting into relationships and still to this day don't really know how to be a healthy one. I have boundary issues also. I don't compartmentalize certain behaviors in the slightest. Venus also mentioned that she's hedonistic and I am as well. I think those years are so important for learning how to control yourself and recognize when you're going too far. She and I, for different reasons, were totally beholden to something and suppressed by it. We never had to make the choice to control ourselves because we didn't have the option.

This video verifies the aphorism, "The truth is stranger than fiction." Excellent investigative journalism. Unfortunate outcome. This society is childish in the aspects of avoiding difficult adult topics to enjoy and desire only entertainment and diversion. What we do to avoid reality at the cost of our children and our children's children.

You can be an empowered healthy person on onlyfans or any other site . People need to stop putting Venus in a box . She’s had a rough abusive life .

Sex worker is not a politically correct term, it's just an umbrella term that can include strippers, twitch thots and actual prostitutes. Basically any work that sells some type of sexual favour whether that's just getting naked or actually having sex with someone. Prostitution is a more specific and accurate term for a particular job within what is now a very large industry, whether people like it or not and whether it's conducive to a positive society or not. I just wouldn't refer to someone who sells sexual favours without any actual sexual contact with people whatsoever, as prostitutes or pornstars. Most of them are just internet strippers, nothing more. As much as I agree with you about the correlation between sex related work and broken homes, calling a nude model or a stripper, a prostitute is just inaccurate
