One of my earliest sheroes. I have followed her since 1989 & when I was 8 years old. She will always be in my top pantheon of sheroes. She is such an inspiration and such a good person and I just love beyond words. I think if I ever got to meet her I would just burst into tears and tell her thank you for everything. I was what was called back then an unwed mother so I didn't graduate, I got my GED. Her grandma lived up the street from us on North 15th Street.
