Elliot Turner certainly didn’t have any friends who actually cared about him. Friends don’t stand by watching and listening to his threats of extreme violence against Emily and say nothing against it. They certainly know that he is quite capable of hurting her and they have actually watched it. I would go so far as to suggest that he wouldn’t have killed her if they had spoken up. That infuriates me. Too bad they couldn’t be charged as well.

You’re right but as only the elite expensive colleges play the game I suppose that’s where it got the reputation of being like polo, you need money to get into the college in the first place. Enid Blyton the famous children’s author always had her characters playing lacrosse in her School Story books. So it was popular in expensive English boarding schools back in the 1940’s and50’s.

..."Lacrosse is an expensive sport to play..." - 🙄 Since when? It isn't an 'elite' sport like polo, which is, of course very expensive - if you own a horse. Even if you 'borrow' one, it's still very pricey. The cost obviously depends on the quality of equipment for lacrosse, but it isn't known as expensive like polo, "The Game of Kings"
