Theres so many aspects to becoming a pro its not just talent aloneTheirs physical and mental aspects too theres no doubt that freestylers like billy and jeremy were elite skillwise and touch wise control,dribbling etc.But to be a pro in certain positions you need to have the attributes and be effective.

Work rate, attitude and getting the basics right (pass/tackle/shot success etc.) comes first, having the ability and confidence to mix skill moves in with it is a bonus.

I will tell you from expeorience having a top level pro player in the family firstly your body has to be able to stand up tp the rigours of the training at such a high level physically and mentally EVERY day , not once or twice a week Then Its about doing the simple things consistently well and having intelligence, understanding where space is , how to find It ,and anticpating and reading the game Thats why you've heard time and time again the saying "they make it look easy " because the best defenders for example are not the ones making sectacular last ditch tackles every match , they don't need to because their positioning means they read the ball and anticipated where to be The best midfielders always have what seems like so much more time on the ball and time is everything because when the receive the ball they already know exaxctly where they are going , where the space Is , where all the other players are on the pitch They don't waste time taking 3 touches then lookiing up and deciding what to do by which time its too late At the top level a single second is the difference between a succesful pass and losing the ball First touch is EVERYTHING , but being aware of the space around you is just as important as you always want to move the ball into space with that first touch to give yourself that extra second of time and you have to create this scenario in your mind BEFORE YOU RECEIVE THE BALL Look at the great creative passers of the ball , the most creative players often the pass physically is not TECHNICALLY difficult , it may ony be a 10 yard pass but THEY have the game awareness and vison to see the pass between the lines and play it at the right time Im sure we could all go out onto a training pitch amd play a 10 yard pass to each other easily But in a game surrounded by pyhsically fast and strong players, with the noise, the pressure ? And yes you DO have to have either real strength or real speed There is a very big physical aspect to it these days Some have both but after saying this nearly everything I have mentioned is MENTAL ability and football intelligence and what you do when you DON'T have the ball

By showing it, it looks like at least Jeremy last time I saw him in a match he had amazing knowledge of the game. What you forgot to mention was, that beef with steven tries was the diss track era, everyone was doing it and dissing each other. What they all understand tho is it's only for content and entertainment and back and forth diss were only done on KZbin. Jeremy took it to real life when he swipe steven tries intentionally during the match.

On Rascal clothing - they didn't cancel it, it's still going. Short version is they sold it to JD Sports but stayed on as directors a few years back. In 2022 a deal fell through where JD were going to sell it along with several other brands, in 2022 Jeremey was paid off as things started to get in motion of Billy buying it back. Last month was when the last JD Sports rep officially resigned as a director. Now Billy is the sole director. It's arguably doing better than it ever has, it's sold in large retailers like Next. Though looking now, they're still using Jeremy's face - but he's no long a person of control.

Not surprising Billy is still involved. I wanted to do a placement with them quite a while back when it just launched. Spoke to Billy on the phone about it and it was something he wanted to have after the youtube stuff. Don't know the exact number or how much the proposed offer from JD was but personally think they could of reached higher heights looking at where it is now, where it started and what they have done with the brand over the years.

To be honest I would say they did reach the top. To perform at the Ballon D'or and to share the pitch with some of the greatest players to ever live you can't get much better than that. Jeremy used to play in the Ilford and District Church League; actually pretty competitive to be honest. A few semi pro players played in it and still do but even back then he was so arrogant. Played against him twice, one game he was unbelievable, in the first minute he beat three players and put it top corner. The second game he got annoyed because "an emo kid" man marked him out of the game; he should have took it as a compliment as we'd never man marked a player in the league before. He was never a nice guy and that was before he found huge fame. Billy doesn't have an ego. He is a really nice guy and just as talented. He had rotten luck with injuries and deserves all the success he gets. Their downfall was not down to Billy at all.

Jeremy has been caught out lying as well (most technical player at Arsenal during the invincible's era) Not sure what the boo hoo is about, in my opinion they did reach the top. The players they have met from humble beginnings is amazing and both are still doing really well.

I don't understand Billy bring told he was too small at 11 , this is Pre Puberty when the body goes through all kinds of changes and growth You absolutely cannot tell at this age that a player is "too small " anyone who knows anything about coaching kids and physical development understands this ! 15 yes , but 11?? Something is off there ? And I am speaking with a degree of first hand experience that many won't have My son is 11 and at a Pro academy In France and he is big for his age and strong and as you'd expect all the kids are technically excellent for their age My son plays left sided defence and even though Its not something he will do often in the game he can dribble as well as the kids who play as attackers , at this age its good for them to try different positions but he just really loves defending and the has a great reading of the game for his age which the coaches really like And he is a left footer the best in the team and takes free kicks and corners as he has so much power and accuracy , which is rarer But also they have some kids who look like they're 9-10 , tiny things , I call them little Mbappes being in the Ile de France and these guys are rapid and skillfull AT this age no one can say yet if any if them are too small and its not something the coaches are even worried about , I know as i talk to them a lot so long as the kids have the technical ability and intelligence and are coachable with the right attitude Though of course they always do like a big strong player like my son, it does help for sure but again at this age its 3-4 years too soon to say My sons cousin though actually plays in Frances Ligue 1, hes at the very top of the French professional game , and Ive seen him play against Messi and Mbappe, Neymar over the last few years etc, all the "superstar names" and be on the winning side as well So i can tell you now, I watched HIM grow up and I rememeber him as a skinny kid my sons age , not as big for his age even as my son Totally unexceptional physically before puberty No one ever told him or indicated any concerns about his size or any other players at his clubs academy at such a young age as far as I know , seriously pre puberty you cannot make decisions based on size alone , its just non sensical to anyone from a coaching background or experience of the game If true It sounds like these coaches were living in the stone age to me ! There are SO many other qualities just as important before and going through puberty As I said Its anyone making a decision purely based on SIZE before puberty and the age of 15 really needs to go back to school or get their head checked!
