Intimacy for Rishi went beyond sex. It ties in with the other scene when he asked Maya when last she could remember them holding hands or hugging let alone sex. It broke him that she was able so easily to do that with another man and not him, her husband. And he was nothing but loyal to her. The best part of this movie was how both Rishi and Rhea were not ready to accept their spouses after coming to know about their infidelity, but in the end they forgave them. They broke off with them but still forgave them in the end. Which is the most important lesson : Never take a cheater back into your life (even if you forgive him/her).

Both of them were completely broken, their anger is justified but I feel that Rishi behaved like a gentleman. Maya assaulted him mentally but he still never took that as a reason and slap her!

This always happens when in relationship one is very committed to the other, the other does cheat. I can say this, bcoz I too experienced this in my relationship with my love. My love wasn't committed to me. But my story ended 3yrs back. Now after seeing this scene, I understand that the reality is always the other way around. Cheating is the worst part in the relationship but this movie ahead of his time.
