I knew from the very beginning that Isabella wasn’t inherently evil. When Conny was about to leave and Isabella was taking conny’s drawing off the wall, she held the drawing to her chest for a short moment. I could tell she felt sad about each child dying and that was further supported when she later says that she does care for each of her children

Isabella isnt a villain in my point of view...she had to pick a choice between life and death. To die or to be a mama and live. Losing her friend was a big hit on her. She worked hard to become a mama. "I want to love them normally" She said this, because she was sad as she ships other kids, just to be eaten. I respect her a lot. And this lullaby reminds her of Leslie. Who was her friend when she was young. When she heard Ray humming to this song. The look on her face shows that she was terrified to hear Leslie's tune on the mandolin. During the escape she said to Emma to take care of her children and escape. This shows on how much she cared of them. Even though she was a pawn for the demons. I respect Isabella so much 😔🙏

People tend to write her off as a terrible person for letting these children be killed, but you make a valid point of how difficult her decisions had to have been. If any of you were in her place, I doubt it would have been easy to make such a decision. Emma took many risks and wasn't willing to settle for anything less that the best possible outcome, which is what set these two apart, but Emma is not the average person, but I'd argue neither is Isabella. *manga spoilers* Considering she was willing to stand up when in a position of power and even give her life for her children, knowing they would finally have the life she wanted to give them in the first place.

I dare not--DARE not--claim that I could have done any better in her situation, that I am in any way better than she is. She challenges all of us to live up to Matthew 5:44, "Love your enemies...and pray for them". She stands in marked contrast with Sister Krone, who is far more self-interested, and more than a little crazed. Neverland presents a fascinating, if dark, contrast with my favorite anime of all time, Haibane Renmei, which also concerns children living in a walled community, who face an unknown future. I think a semester course could be presented exploring and contrasting these two brilliant works.

I knew from the beginning she wasn't exactly a villain. Isabella was just a loving mother who didn't have a choice. The lullaby Leslie sung for Isabella, she usually hummed it whenever a child was being shipped out. If you listen to the lyrics, you'll notice that she hums it because she is hopeful, hoping she would see them on the other side whenever she is no longer around. She never intended on doing something like this, but she had no choice. She wanted to live on, to live the life Leslie and her couldn't have. She never really was a villain, in my eyes.

This isn’t a very popular choice of favorites but Isabella was my favorite TPN character from the very beginning. Seeing how kind she was to the children and that one moment she held Conny’s picture to her chest and the fact that she hums that beautiful song to stop her from crying. And people say she’s a villain, I say she’s a mother, a person who’s been through some things. And there’s so many more reasons and you can’t change my mind about her being my number one favorite character in TPN and the anime world.

i liked her from the start to be honest. i always felt that there was something within her that would show who she really was, and it did. her character may not be likable in the beginning of the show but i’m really glad i gave her a chance. seeing her come into play with her human self at the end was so beautiful. i liked that she let the children go and told them to be safe and felt for them. and told phill they were okay :)

I feel she genuinely loved and cared for her children, that's why she was able to raise the "best products". She wanted to give her children as good of a life as they can have before they were sent off, but she couldn't let herself grow too attached to them. She suppressed all her human emotions to adapt to the world she lives in now. I don't think she's the villain. She's just another victim of the demon's world.

Like she said “Give up and accept.” and she did. She knew what’s going on and she knew what the pain feels,She doesn’t want any of her children get a scratch or hurt. But she did hurt Emma because she doesn’t want to die but live,She wanted to survive and live long but to survive and live long she must be a mom. I know she doesn’t want to cause she will hurt children too in the past but she had to accept it. She had to give birth to survive. I know she’s a villain but it’s sad that she had to see the kids getting shipped out and and get killed including her friend to go now. But all what she did is to become a mom to live and survive.

The fact she kept the toys to remember them shows that she genuinely did love them. She tried to escape only to find the cliff, she thought they weren’t gonna be able to escape so she tried to give them the best life possible, but once she saw them escape she gave up, wishing them well. All she wanted was to survive, even if it meant lying to the children.

The reason i clicked on this video was this very reason. Isabella was the real tragedy of this story. I could just tell she wasn't evil, but she really had me on the edge of the seat. The last scenes of ep 12 made it up for me. Her story was one of the ones i was waiting for, why? why do that to innocent children i couldn't get it but after those scenes i did. I normally never like villains like actually never, I never get attached if they're villains then its a no for me. But Isabella changed that all.

Hello! This is my opinion. Well, at first, I hated Isabella because she broke Emma's leg. She even said that the only option to live is to become a Mom's Prospect. But in Episode 12, I felt horrible that my mind is despising Isabella. I always cried because her friend, Leslie is going to die, but he didn't know. He even send her a smile before he go. And I saw Isabella's reaction, that she's crying and begging her to stay beside her. She didn't play outside because she's crying on her bed but everyone didn't know. I always imagining that what is life that you have no friends, no one will protect you, and especially, no one will love you. She's trying to escape from their house. I bet she want to escape because she want to see Leslie. But she didn't escape. But when she know the hard truth, she didn't know to do except to accept the truth and live on. Isabella is a always a caring mother. Like in this video, a true mother will take care of until the end. She said "I'll pray that the ray of hope shines at the end of your path". I cried in that line. I'm sure that if Emma know her story, she will help her to escape from despair, to feel the freedom. And now, I don't treat Isabella like a favorite villain, I treat like a favorite character. I always hope that there be a season 3 in this show. In fact. I always pray for it 😂😂😂.
