Wow, I really got so hooked that I had to load the game and take a look. What I instantly noticed is that Lacy and Macy both have the same angel wings tattoo on their chest and Harwood has a sword tattoo on his chest. Juan has no tattoo. The fact that the three of them have it while Juan doesn't kind of makes me believe the story might go into the direction of Harwood being somehow a creation of Juan as well... Juan always wanted to make _three_ monsters, right?

Dead twins found in a town named TWINbrook, that is definitely not a coincidence. I bet if we did more digging around the town, we'd find more references to it in the area. Maybe one was a clone since they share the same tattoo? Either way, the story of these twins is the town's main gimmick, it seems.

I think Lacy and Macy was created by Juan ( He wants to be Monster Maker and his bio says he loves his "art"), that's why they are so similar. They can't be twins, even twin don't have almost the same personality and they are wearing same white dress and don't have boots (Looks like clones to me xD) And this tatoo thing on their chest looks like scar. They died in fire in his house and his friend Harwood helped him to cover this up and move bodies. They gave them different surnames to avoid being suspected. Thank you for making those videos

I HAVE A THEORY So Harwood seems like a lonely man, considering his only friend is Juan. Harwood saw how happy Juan was with his wife and wanted one of his own. He asked Juan to CLONE his wife (that’s why they look exactly the same) so Harwood has his own copy of the woman. But something goes wrong with the process- maybe the cloning machine malfunctions and explodes, killing the wife of Juans and burning his house down. Then he sees Harwood with the clone wife- instant jealously. Juan kills Macey in envy but tells Harwood it must have been the cloning process going wrong somewhere. Now both are lonely! Let me know what you think! ☺️

Wow, amazing video. Twinbrook is one of my favorite towns and I never knew this. I think they both died in the house fire and both men tried to cover it up because it was their fault. Amazing how EA thought of so many backstorys and secrets in ONE neighborhood in the sims 3 and now they can’t even set relation ships and jobs in the sims 4🙈

this makes sense as there’s another family in Twinbrook, i can’t remember their name, but it’s a husband a wife and two sons, and all their bios heavily hint that the wife is a robot made by the husband. her looks and traits match a stereotypical 50’s housewife. and like i said, the family bio and sim bios have references to him inventing her and “hoping the neighbors won’t find out the secret to a perfect marriage”. perhaps the most on-the-nose hint is that he literally has the trait “bot lover” which is what he has… a bot lover 😂

Here's another mysterious death in the sims 3 from bridgeport, the town that came with Latenight: Behind the Vampire Club in the downtown of bridgeport, a lone grave sits with the sim name "Lotta Greaves" her name is a pun yes however theres a few things i find weird. She was a human sim before dying in a fire, however when she was alive she was friends with a vampire sim named Vladimir, but is enemies with a celebrity vampire named Elivra Slayer, the weird thing is - Vladimir and Elvira are friends.. now i would just pass it off as just a randomly generated friendship with story progression however, if you have story progression on - Most of the time Elvira and Vladimir get married and reading Lotta's bio she sends a wedding gift from beyond the grave to vladimir most of the times if he does end up getting married.. I just think with Elvira not only being a celebrity, possessing the Evil trait and also working as a level 7 in the medical career... could she of killed Lotta to get Vald just for herself?

So I will absolutely be hopping into TS3 Twinbrook right now! This is a little long but bear with me; One thought about the mysterious grave placements is that in the sims every sim gets a headstone, but real life isn’t always so kind. If their deaths were an accident and needed to be covered up then they would be buried in unmarked graves. However, the sims doesn’t allow for this so the sims team had them buried in community lots. If you look at Juan’s house there isn’t much room for a grave site. Obviously in the sims the graves just take up one tile but that’s not the case in real life. The town of Twinbrook is based on French architecture and the state of Missouri in the USA. In swamp lands it is difficult to bury the deceased because of flooding and the soil on flood planes is very loose and not dense, not ideal for a final burial sight. In real life in these states we bury the deceased in catacombs or crypts. If there was an accident that needed to be concealed the ideal place to put Mary and Lacy would be on Juan and Harwood’s respective properties, but in the video you see that both Juan and Harwood live near water, where the loose soil would be. Juan used his junkyard because it has solid ground and wouldn’t have buried Lacy at the cemetery because, she needs to be hidden. I will look more into the Laundromat, but my idea is the same, the soil there is stable.

stupid theory but hear me out: What if it was a Frankenstein/ Clone experiment gone wrong? Like, Hardwood made the "mold" and Juan was supposed to give them "life" and "personalities" (for Juan, they have the same life time wish and for Harwood, one's an architect and the other a sculpture artist) so they would match, but then the fire broke out and destroyed Juan's house. So in order to make sure no one knows about their "wives" they buried them in different locations. Now I don't know why would anyone want to hide a body near a dry cleaners 😂 but for Juan, maybe he felt a bigger lost (not only because he lost his house) but also because he saw that as a big opportunity to complete his complete his life time wish, maybe he was too... ambitious 😉 *i don't know if i'm making any sense 😅*

The two are creators! I think that the two friends got together and tried to make themselves wives. Sort of like a golem/ Frankenstein's monster deal, which would also explain the abnormal skin and hair. But it all went wrong and the ladies either died after a brief life or they never fully came to life in the first place. Clay and Darer then disposed of their creations and vowed to never discuss it again.

This is what I believe in as well. Harwood's bio does hint towards him having been a celebrity in his youth, but his playable self in Twinbrook is not. I don't think he's a murderer or that he had anything to do with Lacy and Macy's deaths.

Im about to get real dark. My theory is that juan and harwood were married to the twins but they were both unhappy, especially juan, with the pressure the twins put on them about starting a family. I think that it was Juans idea to start a fire while they were both in the house, then they disposed of the bodies in different parts of the town. Juan putting her grave in the junkyard could be a symbol.

I think that Juan and Harwood had known each other long before getting married to the sisters. Juan has 1 skill point in Sculpting which makes me believe that he did that at some point in his life, but quit later. Maybe he took sculpting classes with Harwood back when they were kids but only Harwood continued when it turned out that he was really talented.

My theory is that the guys were working on an invention at that house next to the barn. the wife (lucy i think?) ended up getting hurt/dying bcs of the experiment and the sister walked in and saw what happened (maybe even wanted to call an ambulance/cops). They wanted to cover the murder up so they tied the sister up. Maybe burning down the house in attempt to get rid off the evidence.

Here's my theory: Juan was unhappy with his relationship, due to Lacey's perfectionism and Juan's craziness clashing. Lacey wanted a child (monster maker/family oriented) but Juan felt like he was under siege and overpowered by her. Lacey then pretended to be Macey and woohoo'd with Harwood, Macey found out about this (perceptive trait.) Obviously this resulted in Harwood being depressed, "Do I exist" asking himself because he felt used and ignored. Macey went to confront Lacey about the adultery and caused the housefire but she burned alive instead and Lacey escaped (Macey has the Homemaker "Hotshot" aspiration.) Harwood then confronted Macey thinking she was Lacey and pushed her into the fire which killed her. Harwood being the only one left alive didn't want to implicate himself as an arsonist so he claimed that it was probably one of Juan's inventions. Juan was obviously distraught (he's carrying an umbrella, a trope when it comes to funerals in the rain) and decided to bury her where he'd see her every day: his junkyard. Harwood didn't want to be reminded of his murder and the fact that he cheated on his wife so he decided to bury her behind the laudromat (for some reason.) In this time, Juan and Harwood bonded so Harwood could help Juan get over his grief and in that time he met his ex-girlfriend that left him because of his neurotic personality (and that he was still grieving, added onto the fact that he's a wanderer).

While the "finding out who he really is" thing could definitely be a double entendre about him having some kind of murderous secret, I'm 99% certain the the primary meaning of that line is the fact that he's supposedly hiding his former fame of being a sculptor. Being retired from an uninteresting job in the music career could easily be part of his cover story.

since Juan is an inventor and his life aspiration is to become a monster maker I do believe that Macy and Lacy might be androids? It's quite odd how both of them - Lacy and Macy and their characteristics were matching with their husbands' personalities and life goals. kinda making them be ”the perfect wives” I dunno theory can be debunked cus we have never seen actual androids in the sims series but still let me dream and theorize upd: ok I’ve read the comment section and concluded that the girls might have been clones (but who is a clone of whom is still a mystery yet it's not that important) in my defense (omg shut up you freak) and in defense of my androids theory I may say that androids or robots may be a thing since monster maker aspiration is referred to bots and bots only (moreover plumbots were introduced in the ambitions expansion pack)

I think the sisters are actually twins because the place is called Twinbrook. Brook means "put up with" as a verb, so may be, the husbands could no longer brook the twins and killed them. Plus there was no mention of either wife in the bios.

To me it seems like Macy and Lacy are clones. Considering Juan's lifetime wish - monster maker, perhaps the two were his attempt at creating a clone. I think that either Lacy and Juan worked together to create Macy, or Juan worked with Harwood to create both. Lacy and Macy could also be an unsuccessful attempt at making a ghost. Or Macy and Lacy are actually robots, who Juan and Harwood worked together on, and they exploded before being finished.

The girls could have also technically been Juan and his ex girlfriend’s daughters, although it’s probably not the case since I feel like the Sims team would reference them having children somewhere. I presume they would have had to die fairly recently if Harwood was involved since he just settled into the town for retirement. That being said, they might have been failed experiments that Juan made and Harwood was involved. But at the end of the day, I really don’t know.

What is Macy and Lacy had the same last name before marrying Harwood and Juan? My thoughts is that Juan and Harwood have always been friends, but when a visit when awry and a fire burst out, the two made the escape. Unfortunately, however, the wives didn't. As such, the two buried eachother's wives in hidden places around town. Places where they, and only they, can find them. I am unsure as to why they would hide them, but perhaps they wish to see them in places they would normally go to, Juan with the Junkyard, and Harwood with the Laundromat. Placing gravestones on lots will have the ghost remain in the lot. So perhaps the two wish to see them where they actively go to.

The Sims Lore Thanks for responding!! I removed all cache files like the previous comment said, haven't tried it out yet. I tried using Save As, not sure if that's the same thing as what you mentioned but that didn't bring me too far either since it happened a save (as) after that again. Does reinstalling the game make me lose any progress, even if I backup all Towns/Sims I have created?

Random idea, but what if they met at the wedding of the other Like Harwood was getting married to Macy, and clearly Macy would invite her twin Lacy would bring her husband as her plus one So Harwood and Juan met at Harwood’s wedding What if the two slowly started to fall in love with each other? But think of the time, two men, in love? Preposterous So, to remove any obstacles, Juan had the Clays over for dinner one night, then staged an accident which resulted in his house burning down, killing both of their wives in the process So that police couldn’t track them down, each man took their respective wife and buried them in odd spots you wouldn’t expect But because of the time, they still couldn’t be together So there they were, two men, in love with each other, each with a dead wife Will they finally get together and move on now that they can and the mysteries surrounding their wives has passed?

My theory...Sims 1 is first. No Alexander Goth. Then Sims 2. Alexander looses his mom Bella; developed time travel...he goes back in time...Sims 3 and writes those books for his mom so she doesn't go missing in Sims 4 which is a redo of Sims 2...but Bella doesn't go missing this time. Like Marty Mcfly in Back to the Future. And thats why EA can't say anything...because licensing & copyrights. So they just have to say its alternate reality. That's just me though.

I just want to say, as an artist myself, at first this really didn’t seem that suspicious to me. Artists unfortunately tend to get harassed for our craft. So the whole thing about him wanting to lie low and his neighbors not finding out who he really was wasn’t that strange to me until it was put into context. Imo their story is a little like this: Clay was a famous sculptor who decided to retire, he was married with Macy who's twin sister with Lacy. So the they decided to move to a place somewhat closer to Lacy's family. There he meets Juan and the two of them become friends very quickly. The fact Clay doesn't want people to discover about him is because he doesn't want the fame all over again, he wants a quiet life of a retired ordinary man. Juan and Lacy trying to follow the same career, i believe the two of them used to rumage thru the junkyard together, looking for materials for their inventions. The house got on fire and Lacy died, but Juan decided to bury her on the junkyard, the place where they probably had the best Memories together. In the case of Macy's death, i believe she died near that laudromat (for a reason i can't pin point), and in a form of artistic memorial, Clay bury her in the exact same place she died, basically a "Here died Macy Hardwood"

Considering Harwood was supposed to be a sculptor but ended up a stagehand and he hopes the neighbors don't find out who he is suggests murder was involved, or atleast the townsfolk think it was murder because of their mysterious death or was it disappearance. Lets say they were Harwood's sisters and one of them married Juan, then one day everyone saw Harwood fighting with them in the central park and later they were either mysteriously gone or died a mysterious death. Then Harwood was ran out of town and took other jobs along with an alias then later returned home to retire years later after the town forgot about him.

This is the first time I hear about any on these Sims, but my first thought was not that Lacy and Macy were sisters, but clones, specifically Macy is the clone. I think that when Lacy died, whether she was Wan's wife or sister or whatever, he blamed himself for causing her death so he tried to clone her being a scientist and all, but when Hardwood found that out he killed the clone in a fire as well. Hardwood was perceptive, so he must have realised something was off, and he was also charismatic, which means he could easily lure Macy in to kill her. But this experience causes Hardwood to question his existence since he's been friends with Wan most of his life and was horrified of being a clone as well, which is why he has that book. Perhaps this happens before he discovers Macy being the clone and with his perceptive trait he picked up clues or something, idk. Also, about Hardwood, "who he really is" striked me because in his bio it said "he was named a prodigy". Perhaps he changed his name and is actually the son of a different mysterious couple in the Sims world since his parents were absent.

Maybe, Harwood created a sculpture (lacy or macy) and one of juan's inventions gave life (like a simbot) to the sculpture (or creating a live clone too) and while juan was experimenting on the something in the house, both lacy and macy where there (harwood too) something went wrong, and they both burned, but harwood and juan escaped, as they didnt want anyone to know about the sculptures that burned (or the house) they buried them in the junkyard. That's my theory, since ambitions came with the simbot station and the sculpting station

Lacy and Macy are sisters, and I don't think Lacy is Juan's sister or mother... they don't look anything. Its probably that Lacy was married to Juan and Macy to Harwood, and both died in his house fire caused by his inventions.

Another possible theory :- Macy and Lacey were twin sisters born to a woman who both Juan and Harwood fell in love with in their younger days, but who went away and married someone else. She bore the man twin daughters, but shortly after had to flee when her husband was killed by a dangerous pyromaniac. She gave her babies to her two best friends to raise as their own, and left town to search for the killer. Many years later the two girls, raised apart by two loving foster fathers, would be tracked down by the murderer who would complete what he or she started years ago.

My theory is that Hardwood Clays wife was visiting her twin sister in Twinbrook and that her or her twin sister witnessed "the favourite Racket boy" crimes and that this is what led him to become enemies with his father Max. To cover up his sons mistake Max then killed both the girls because he didnt know which one who was the witness due to their indentical apparence. To cover up their crimes the Racket family probably set up the inventor so it looked like he killed his wife or somehow made him hide her death. The tradgic deaths of their wifes made "the inventor" and Hardwood Clay best friends as well as cheered interests and their wifes being just twins. I think Hardwoods household bio only means that he wants to hide that he is a famous artist to not be bothered why he is mourning his wife and that he moved to Twinbrook only to feel closer to her this being the place she was killed and potentially where she grew up. Because he is mourning and do not want to be reconised by the people he mostly keeps to himself and his best friend which is why noone knows about the death of his wife. "The inventors wife" people might think divorced him and moved away or something which is why noone knows that she is dead either! Maybe people think her Sister help her move away from "the inventor" wich is why they both might have been witness on the day of their deaths without suspision!

Maybe the men were jealous and envious because: both women were excellent in art, and could get the title of best artists and Macy could even be the best home decorator but, soon it all ended tragically when both women were murdered and bodies burned at Juan's house, but Juan was not expecting his whole house to burn down. They then buried the bodies in different locations.

I dont have this theory fully formed but it seems to me that Juan could have created both women, one for himself and one for his best friend. Possibly something went wrong with the girls and the men chose to dispose of them? Or maybe the created women were defective and it was them that started the fires, killing them in the process? Can someone tell me if the Clay's lot has a washing machine? I don't have access to the game anymore!
