It seems like when the other performers die, they're taking their fart cues from Joey, since there's occasionally a split-second delay between the sound and the reaction. Jeff, on the other hand, clearly trusts enough Joey that he can do things like 2:50, 2:58, 3:14-3:20, and 4:40-etc.

Read the credits, Jeff came up with the concept and tried to write it for 10 years, but Nick and Matt Lang rewrote it and made it work; not to take away from Jeff he did a great job with concept and songs. Great job by the whole team.
