What is Among us?
As you attempt to prepare your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone!
When a body is discovered you call a vote to decide who killed them! You can also call an emergency vote if you are suspicious. But becareful...it may lead to you getting sent out the air lock!

@@gaiusmarius4209 the traitor mod seems to pick a random remaining player to become traitor when both impostors are amongst the first five(?) or so dead. I could be wrong, but I believe that’s what I’ve read before for it in someone else’s comment

@@gaiusmarius4209 Doing a quick google search, apparently if all Impostors die when there are 5 or more players/crew alive, the game will randomly assign a crew with the role Traitor. Even if the final Impostor dies before the meeting, the Crewmate will not know they are a traitor until the next meeting passes

I think traitor role would be much better if it worked in a less obtrusive/random way, like say if the crew voted off your lover in a meeting you don’t die instead you become a traitor who vows to take vengeance on the crew. This one is more on the random side but still better than the current traitor.. any of the good killing roles has a set chance to become a traitor if they kill an innocent rather than exploding, only one traitor allowed per game, the mayor who puts 2 or more votes on crewmate who gets thrown out would also have a chance at turning into a traitor Idea number 3 would be that the traitor role would be like a normal generic imposter however this imposter gets at random the abilities of a crewmate and this crewmate role cant be given to another player. So with this role you might get an imposter who is also a mayor, timelord, tracker, spy… etc

If you get your role taken by an amne, you turn into Crewmate if you were a crew role, into Jester if you were a neutral role (I think this depends on settings, actually, but I suspect Jester's default) and into Imposter if you were an imposter role. When all impostors are dead and the Traitor role has been chosen to show up, at the end of the first meeting in which the last impostor dies/is dead, one Crewmate will randomly be chosen to become the Traitor. I wonder how that would work with a 3-person endgame, 2 crew voting out the last impostor, but then the Snitch turns Traitor.

@@spicyice1012 It’s part of the settings, so it can be toggled ‘on’ and ‘off.’ There’s an adjustable headcount on how many players can be left where it’s still “allowed” to happen (like, iirc for this lobby, if 5 or more crew are left alive but both impostors are dead, one of the crew will become a Traitor at random). I do not recall if a Glitch factors into that headcount or not. A role exists that can _take_ a dead body’s role, and that’s the Amnesiac. Currently, no other role is able to spawn the same way a Traitor does.
