4:45 The statue is called "Warrior on a Horse" because Skopje has no connection to ancient Macedon and Alexander, as aknowledged by the Skopje government. This South Slavic Nation tried to create a fake connection to antiquity, but failed. Because history cannot be reconstructed. It is written and has continuity, and is validated by archaeology. No matter how many statues they built in 2014, the real statues have been built thousands of years earlier. To see them, visit Macedonia. It is in Greece.

If you think you very smart you should know that the actual Macedonia is divided between three countries don’t understand why it should be in Greece only when actual Greece was way south then today borders . And if you do your dna you will find that people who live in the Southern Greece has 90% Arabic dna . Don’t attack the whole Balkans better stick to the facts. Read the history and see how many percentage of the people were actual Greeks in the Aegean Macedonia before the actual Macedonians were expelled in 1947 .

​@@vh.v7331 I said that this statue is not Alexander, if you visit the statue you will see it written "Warrior on a Horse", because Alexander was a Hellene. Today Macedonia includes parts of different countries, I did not say that it should be Greek only. I said that ancient Macedon was Greek, the whole world and even Skopje aknowledge this. As about my dna, I don't think that you know what is in there. And I don't attack the Balkans, if Skopjans want to be called Macedonians that is fine, but they have no connection with Alexander. This issue has been solved, there was an attempt of Skopje to create a false connection with Greek antiquity but it is officially over now.

Skopje looked ugly before this much needed makeover. To think that the new people in power wanted to go back to the old style is insane. Who would spend money to make the buildings look ugly again. The 2014 project gave the city character. The people who hated it have absolutely no taste. I've seen the before pictures and it looked 🤢🤮

You may not be a Roman column ancient Greek gaudy style guy but when you look at those old pictures, it looks grey and depressing AF. There's literally no character in the old architectural style. The old style has absolutely nothing to offer except grey ugly tasteless modern architecture that for some reason leftist decided to declare their architecture of choice 🤮🤢
