The problem is that incels are so focused on what _they_ want, they don't realize the landscape is actually equally shit for everyone. The see women getting to have sex, even if they aren't very attractive, and only focus on that being something they want to do, while never appreciating that having sex with someone who won't commit is poison for women (a biological underpinning that makes a lot of sense). Having these guys withhold a monogamous relationship is every bit and soul-crushing and miserable for a woman as it is for all women to withhold sex from the incels. Similarly with e-thoting. Things that people typically refer to as "sex work" are often meaningless, easy money to the men that participate in them, but it's soul-crushing for women. They may make money, but they're also getting high to get through it, and a _huge_ number of them wouldn't mind if they overdosed, so they'd never have to get in front of the camera again. It's "easy" in that it's not high skill, but it's misery on a much more fundamental level. Not to mention that so many of these guys are working off such _old_ information. Ive been saying this for years, its internalised misandry. We live in a word where males are told masculinity is toxic so this is the logical outcome. Its more likely in male children who live with their mothers who are openly hostile towards men. I have seen it first hand with a mother I worked with who openly professed her hate towards men, but she loved gay and trans people. Her son came out as gay likely due to pressure from the mum. However he ended his life during the pandemic. Its at the stage where nobody is allowed to question the route at how people end up in this mess, particularly when the root cause is female hostility towards men. I have already told this story several times but I will do it one more time, in the 70s of the 20th century the BBC produced a series of documentaries about how people lived in England throughout history, they built small representative towns of different eras and groups of volunteers offered to live in those towns according to each historical period, although these volunteers tried to continue with their liberal customs of the 20th century, they ended up adopting the traditional way of life, the men had to work from dawn to dusk doing rough tasks , heavy and unpleasant, the women had to attend to the house and the kitchen, on several occasions they tried to share tasks or alternate gender roles, it did not last long when the women had to walk 1 or 2 miles to collect and split enough firewood to a day or two they returned home and handed over the ax to their husbands.

For a long time I have thought this was the case when you look at the situation in Thailand in the late 90s early 2000s. Think of the position of Thai guys, your country is flooded with richer, taller men than you, most girls are working in the sex trade and it was probably virtually impossible for many Thai guys to get a girlfriend. Not much different from other contexts, it can be a variety of reasons lol. They might be insecure themselves, they might just want to feel superior to others or perhaps they may be projecting their own ideas since in some cultures access to sex/partner is a type of status symbol.
