What a class act you are Clay. You never forget the people who helped you along the way to your success. The hands-on training you got in your early years still shows in the way you interact with people and sponsors. Your videos show that to you it’s about the people not the money. Yes, it requires money but if you don’t have a full on trust relationship with people and treat them right the money will never come. Your support of the “kids” on your team is another piece of evidence, those kids love you as their Dad who they would do anything for! That kind of authenticity is impossible to fake. And every other team and driver out there has huge respect for you as a person not just another TF driver. I sure hope younger drivers in all motorsports watch your channel to see how it should be done. Looking forward to great 2025, defending your US Nationals win and picking up a few more Wallys and moving closer to that title.

Man, I literally think before posting, it’s kinda like being a regular somewhere but I don’t drink 😁 Thing is, you’ve touched on a few things that matter to me. I do and have done a lot of work just because. I think I’ve designed around 20 cycling jerseys for Habitat because I have the hands for it. I only went to one key ceremony at a house because it’s so intense, not a dry eye in the place. Because of that link I *almost got to design a shirt for Carter - longer story. I’ve broken bread with people that are homeless, all the way up to someone who was a medical officer for the un (design 2 books for him). For me that’s the only way to live, reciprocity makes it all go ‘round. Frick, did it again 😁

Loyalty to the people and their spirit that helped you achieve your dreams is just one of the qualities of your character that has created the fan base that has now become legendary in racing. When you are known as ‘the people’s racer’ it’s for a dang good reason. You love them as your fans love you,without reservations. Clay what a great story..I remember meeting you in the early 1990's My stepdad and I were running a B/ED in IHRA Modified eliminator and occasionally switching over to Top dragster depending on car count..We were in the Staging lanes at Bristol..What an inspiration you are ..Drag racing is Very hard work and to be successful and do it for a living is even harder..Thank you my friend for keeping my dream alive while I was racing..I work some races now for NHRA and run into you at Indy, Bristol, Norwalk..You are still an inspiration my friend..Thank you and I look forward to hearing some more stories

@brianholcomb64993 сағат бұрын
I’m surprised with the material torn right off the clutches, & the rust, he didn’t mention anything about water in transmission is the definite way to kill a transmission! Clutch bonding is usually done with water soluble material 😳😳😳😳! Meaning goodbye clutches!

Kewl story. Thinkin’ what y’all’ relating here is Raymond mentoring y’all’s character, to be respected and acknowledged by others, that lead to y’all actually going places. Too many sabotage themselves, thinkin’ that talkin’ shit, acting audacious and insincerely playing a part, will fool the people that really matter, especially, the one’s that y’all don’t know how much they could matter, in y’all’s future.
