How is letting h equal 0 in the end justified? We made the assumption in the beginning that h>0, in order to get our equations.

h was introduced at about 4:50 where it was used to consider a time offset from t_0. h can be positive, negative or zero. If h is zero, then the time considered is just t_0. At about 6:28 he says "h is totally arbitrary".

I cannot understand why did you chose to differentiate at point "b" , it is better to chose an arbitrary point "x"
