The Travel Cats at The May bee festival 2024

The Travel Cats are a group of friends and musicians who wanted to hang out more, so we formed a band.
Melissa Joiner heads our group with vocals and guitar. She is a magician when it comes to improv and tours internationally both solo and with a variety of combinations!
Drew Jacobs adds his soulful flavor with vocals and guitar as well as some rocking bass when he wants to! Drew plays solo as well as with a variety of projects all over the grand strand.
Christopher Nelson is a full on package with a voice like butter and a rocking saxophone. He also plays guitar and plays everywhere from Nashville to the ocean in a variety of projects, most notably The Chris Nelson Band.
Tina Marie Racer is a drummer who we all call LINT because she is always in the pocket. She plays with duos and full bands with genres from rock, pop and bluegrass.
JP Taylor is a gifted musician who plays solo and with many projects around the grand strand. He is a magician with a looper and can keep an audience on their feet with his many talents!
