I purchased both the traveling crochet & traveling knit afghan kits from Lion Brand after I purchased both for my daughter. I can’t wait to get started! Luckily I bought all of them on sale too! She was having so much fun I decided to give it a try too.

I may have missed it but are you going to share where each square originates? I would like to note the origin of each one if possible.

As each pattern is published, the color blocked square will be replaced with a photo of the finished knit or crochet square and it will be hyperlinked directly to the pattern. I am new to this. What does K5 and P3 mean? Sorry for being ignorant on this matter.

K5 means Knit 5 and P3 means purl 3. You should be able to find a tutorial on how to knit and purl.
