I think it's Body rub grind. Mine definitely rubs. But hard to tell from your sound on video. Handled the rock crawling section no problem 😂That was some fun ollie action. I think we'll see more driveshaft breaks because I noticed I land on throttle when trying to save Ollies. Notice it on yours too. The brake would make it nose down, then throttle to level and still hit from down with crazy wheel speed. Totally worth it though!!!

Some of the "expert" reviewers don't like the Hoss, but I like the way it looks and think I'm going to buy one soon. Traxxas is good quality in general and the spare parts are much cheaper than many other brands. That's something to consider too. Because Traxxas is such a large brand, spares will be available for ever.

@@outsourcedrc You know, some say its a Rustler with a larger motor. Some critisize the servo is not metal geared. They almost all agree the price is way too high. I feel bad for his E-Revo v2.0. Because judging from the Fun'O'Meter, it has now become absolete!. The Traxxas Hoss Ollie truck.
@mohammadmaaytah8624 жыл бұрын
You think so? I own a 2.0 and enjoy how controlled it is relative to what I see in the Hoss. Hoss wheelies too often for my liking and lacks the heft/power of the 2.0 and as a result does not clear jumps as well as the 2.0. My 2 cents.

So my son & I are trying to choose between the Hoss, Maxx, and Rustler VXL 4x4 Just for light bashing and to run on turf fields. Which one would you suggest? We understand the Rustler with the lower CG will probably handle the best, but it’s about light bashing for us. We need a little more ground clearance as to not stress the motor as much so I guess it really comes down to the Hoss or the Maxx Let us know when u get the chance. From a Subscriber
@outsourcedrc3 жыл бұрын
I'd go with the Hoss personally. I think the Maxx is just too top heavy for its foot print and you have to spend a lot to get it to drive really well.

It sure doesnt!!!. It will need replacement parts soon though haha
@joeygodoy5093 жыл бұрын
Just take the body off, then take sharp turns. If noise is gone with body off you know its just tire rubbing the body. You can raise the body some

Maxx better in every way. This hoss is tiny compared to maxx . Go check them out side by side at your hobby store. This is just another stupid over priced parts bin truck from traxxas . Just another rustler/stampede/slash. Spend a couple more bucks and get the Maxx. I've actually beat the maxx up pretty bad i have a 6s system in it and i still haven't broken a drive shaft only the body and wheels. The wheels are junk and they crumble and crack but besides that it's pretty good
