Great review. I am little disappointed that lights are not remotely controlled. That would be a nice touch. Planning on getting the Defender with the light kit and the low gear transmission.

My packaging was so different from how you just unboxed it. My transmitter wasn’t laid out like that. It was in a pocket like lol

Going from my brushless scx24 to this was painful. Needs a more powerful motor asap

I would recommend picking up the low range gears if you want more torque on the stock motor! This 180 motor is certainly capable for this truck. I also agree a brushless or larger brushed motor setup would be awesome though!

@@CineMoto24 I think a lot of it has to do with having the FOC tech with the furitek esc. I think ill leave it as is though, always wanted something a little faster for the trails.

@@SRC3D I agree with you. Operating a brushless motor with FOC compared to a kit stock brushed setup is a hard comparison. I am honestly just happy the TRX4M comes with a relatively beefy brushed setup as well as different gearing options. Compared to the SCX24 stock powertrain this is definitely a step in the right direction in my opinion.

Traxxass TRX-4M Sucks as far as power switch,,,Wait NO Power Switch...you have to use battery plug as switch by unpluging and plugging every time....battery plugs are NOT made to work this way....and CANNOT USE other chargers such as Spektrum because of proprietary plug on the battery and when your plug goes bad there are NO battery's in stock world wide!!!!
