@@RogueSoul73 crazy? No, I think Kanye is way ahead of the crowd. Most geniuses are. For most of us it's clear that the Democrats have been putting on a show for black people. Who can forget when Pelosi and several other Democrats came out wearing kentes (African scarfs) around their necks, and kneeled in solidarity with black people. At least some people saw through the BS. "Stop using Africans and African cultures as props to deflect criticism. We are not your props." - Nanjala Nyabola Democrats are the guy saying "I love you baby. Just the tip okay?". Sweet words to get what they want. Then they leave you pregnant. 50 years with Democrats, and where has it gotten black people? Killing each other. Over half of all murders are committed by someone who is black. Meanwhile Republicans gave 320,000 Union soldier lives, and fully supported the Civil Rights Act. And people have convinced themselves that Trump is a racist. Based on what? Who don't the Democrats call a racist? We all watched Democrats tell the lie about Russian collusion for years. They claimed to have definitive proof, but it was a lie before the election, but you trust them? And don't tell me you haven't noticed that they start stirring up racial tensions right before every election. But a lot of people know the game they're playing. That is why there is a spike in fake hate crimes right before every election. They have their sheep dogs out herding their flock that's bleating "raaaacism". Look at how ferociously they went after the Covington Catholic School kids, who were attending a pro life rally, just because they had MAGA hats on. Meanwhile they ignored the racial taunts from the Black Hebrew Israelites. Which is the group that sent Dr. King's mom to the afterlife, shot up a ✡deli in Jersey, are connected to a Capitol police officer being ran over, the guy who drove his car into the Christmas parade, and the guy in Kentucky who shot at the ✡ guy running for mayor as a Democrat in Kentucky. But now we can see how BLM is spending the money. Houses and bailing out "foot soldiers". The Democrats love filling black people with hatred. It's an effective tactic to keep black people distracted. Then black people don't start asking the hard questions. It's laughable to see them call the truckers in Canada YT supremes. One guy held up a Nazi flag and said, "Is this what you want Canada to become?". He said that to point out the authoritarianism from Justin Trudeau. But then the press ran with the YT supreme narrative. It's like calling the Proud Boys YT supremes, and their leader was literally a black man, and their founder is a comedian who's married to a Native American woman. CP probably had more to say, but when you're talking to a cult, you have to watch your words. If you go too fast, then people will reject your words, because they don't know how to process it all. They will just turn on you. The whole Uncle Tom, race traitor thing is just one tactic to keep people from leaving the cult. This is why Biden felt comfortable saying "you ain't black", but instead his words were like a splash of cold water. These are just some of the things Kanye and many other black people have woken up to. It makes me really happy to see the programming getting broken.

As a black man and former political science major, now holding my B.A. in it, I couldn’t help but watch this episode with a hint of seriousness. Yeah the jokes were funny and all, but this is REAL. And, even though the jury voted for Ron, I know CP won my vote. We can’t just keep letting our government sell us whatever we want to hear to get us to keep voting for them. We need new leaders, a new party, a new consciousness as a community, and to recognize the power we’d have as a voting block the minute we claim our seat at the table. Enough of this bartering BS, it’s time for us to do right by our own community.

@sevatar5762
@sevatar5762 2 жыл бұрын
To play devils advocate if I may... Seeing this a a situation to vote on as a community is the exact reason that this is a problem to begin with. Voting blocks can be easily swayed. Hell all it took were decades of empty democrat promises to get everyone on side. Rather would it not be better to advocate for people to vote as individuals for who they genuinely feel has their and the countrys best interests at heart? Not who some community leader told them to vote for, not who everyone else on the block is voting for and not the favourite of some millionaire celebrity. Advocate that people in the black community to become invested in the political landscape both locally and nationally and that once they have become informed they can then vote with a true sense of purpose. That’s what true freedom looks like. The freedom to make informed choices for yourself without the yoke of “if you dont for a certain person you aint black”. This entire “we need to do this as a community” idea hasn’t worked because the community isn’t informed, will just go along with everyone else is doing and a few key players can be bought off to sell the narrative of “this is our guy”. Remember it’s your vote and you owe it to nobody. Not a particular party and not the community. You owe it to yourself. Get informed and vote for who you best thinks serves yourself and the nation best.

Neither CP or Ron were entirely right or wrong because the real issue that should be on trial is the "winner takes all" election system. Maybe one other issue you can say should be on trial and that is the Buckley v. Valeo ruling in 1976 that essentially deemed bribery as "free speech". Since then there was a significant shift by both the major parties, republican & democrat to more closely align their votes with the will of the donors. Their rhetoric may differ but their legislation usually has the backing of industries though not necessarily the approval of their constituents. I'm all for having more parties, but recognize those parties will accomplish nothing but help get the greater of the evils into power. Our system isn't well suited to accommodating more parties. If it did, it would better represent American politics.

When your only endorsement for the Democrats is... what else you gon do? You are in an abusive relationship. Stop rewarding bad behavior and make the Democrats court your vote. Black people are the only people who vote for the coolest looking person and the Democrats know this. They know all they have to do is gather some celebrities and pay them to tell us to vote for them. That way they don't have to actually give us resources and policies. They'll just give those things to other groups that actually demand things from them. Biden just wrote another check for billions of dollars for the Ukraine refugees while black people been loyal and we can't get a dime. Don't vote for the Democrats. When they lose the election because they didn't have our support, just like an ex that realizes they need you, they will come running back with policies and resources.. Every black person vote should be for sale.

Yes, we need to make the dream come true. Unfortunately, though, we'll never get completely there without doing what I call, "playing the game" and the Democrats are our best chance of getting there. Do you know why race relations and topics like this are so common today? It's because, after so many of us being killed in the streets by those with the "authority", we finally bucked and said, "This can't continue". That made those who were in power a little nervous. So they tightened their grip on that power. I've always said that we need to elect people from our neighborhoods to represent us. Let's be real about one thing though. America was created SPECIFICALLY by straight white men so that straight white men could do whatever THEY WANTED TO DO. Other races were not factored into the design. Hell, not even the natives of the land were factored in. It's great to have dreams and goals, but we also have to be realistic and if I had to choose between someone like Biden or Kamala Harris or AOC or Bernie and so on vs someone like Trump or MTG or Gaetz or Graham or McConnell; I'll take the first group all day everyday and twice on Sunday. At least with them, I have the possibility of living my life how I want to. That possibility currently doesn't exist with today's Republicans being in power. The Democrats are far from perfect but their a damn sight better than they Republicans.

@Venus Bloodflow This is what scares me as well. CP presented good arguments, but he completely failed on the aspect of how we get this done, realistically. So many "free thinkers" with no real answers. And, "let's just do it" is not logically sound, not is it sufficient for those who will suffer actual consequences as a result.

@Venus Bloodflow Yes, if you vote 3rd party, you are giving the election to the republicans… but only for one election. When they see we won’t automatically vote Democrat every time, both parties will actually complete for our vote and they’ll know we actually expect results. It’s the only way to make things better for us in the long run
@999eres
@999eres 2 жыл бұрын
@Venus Bloodflow It’s not a perfect solution Venus but if we can’t make a sacrifice, we’re going to keep getting the same thing from both parties that we’ve been getting. @@jimmychacha2663 In defense of CP, presenting a socialist alternative wouldn't allow for much humor (and humor over logic seems to be the theme of a comedy show like cancel court)/ The defense response would be to disparage socialism the same way republicans / democrats address a political ideology that they're paid to misunderstand and misrepresent. Basically, CP knew his audience and the end result wouldn't have changed even if he DID articulate a specifically socialist alternative. As much as the defense argument was kept that we need to do something NOW and not wait for what could be, that same argument is rooted in parroting democrat / republican sentiment, which one might think would be self-defeating. He actually believes in our people, our strength and ability to be self sufficient and do for self. Realest moments were when Ron was talking about “where you gonna get your welfare and foodstamps…” and CP said “this is disgusting” and when judge showed all the democratic run cities that were in shambles and CP kept answering “democrats”. He genuinely sounded bothered. Actually should have brought up Obama fake drinking water in Flint. Again, great show. Keep them coming!

Wanted to hit like button a thousand times! So true! The democrat party, or government in general, does not care about us. We need to care about ourselves and ea other. Welfare programs were originally intended for short term emergencies, not to live on, or for disabilities, older citizens etc. It’s crippled the minority communities as well as poor whites, because it’s easy. It doesn’t allow for incentive and motivation and innovation, which all requires hard work and determination. A hand out is good and shd only be used until we can get on our feet and become independent and self sufficient. That does take a determined and independent mind set. It does take family and community to help, something we have lost. That is the problem we face, is the breakdown in the family and thus in our communities and society. That’s where the work and rebuilding needs to be. Not looking to government of either party. But the Dems love welfare subsidies because they love and know it it keeps the people in bondage to their programs which keeps them voting them back into office. Both parities have issues, but republicans are for lower taxes, lower government spending, fiscal responsibility and to curtail social service handouts from becoming lifelong unless one meets qualifications for such. Communities need to develop more help to get people into work programs, training, scholarship assistance, childcare assistance while in training so that single mothers&fathers women&and men can get trained to go to work or get back to work. That’s where the welfare money shd be going, instead of keeping people dependent on their welfare assistance. They need to ramp up what they already have going and stop the dole out! Able body adults shd be working! The govt can subsidize childcare to help offset that cost, but this dole out of our tax dollars for people who contribute nothing needs to end! And the democrats are the biggest over-spenders and offendesr! CP IS RIGHT ON!♥️
