Oh please you'd accuse Gumball as well, Gumball was literally trying to sabotage Darwin the WHOLE TIME prior to the gum thing. He literally broke Darwin's arm in the first few seconds of the episode, why the HELL should Darwin trust him? Darwin's anger was perfectly justified here.
