Great to see new bridges that allow the passage of fish throughout the watersheds. Hopefully, the land remains public with public access to the streams and rivers.

That area holds a special place for my family ever since my dad was youngster. While the project may seem worthwhile from a fish barrier context... I think a bigger concern in that aspect that needs to be addressed are all the beaver dams being formed from one year to the next. If the Forest Service doesn't do something about that (ie blowing many of those dams), then undertakings such as highlighted in this video are a moot point. The whole drainage will become one big beaver pond!

beaver dams are great habitat and fish can navigate them.. The more the marrier.

Well if the culverts are being replaced so logging trucks can take away trees necessary for clean streams habitat, haven't we enabled more environmental damage?

Though I don't know about this project, many areas that the forest service approves for logging are overgrown or beetle kill (possibly from being overgrown) and may be choking off migration routs or likely increasing severe wildfire chances. Perhaps to a part of the forest you cant even see from the stream, they just need a road that is later used for better access and management.
