The Trick Big Isopod Breeders DON'T WANT YOU TO SEE!!!

Just a cheaper and equally effective way to supplement your isopods with calcium than cuttlebone, limestone, or most other commonly sold calcium sources IMO.

Thanks! Calcium supplementation is currently the biggest cost in keeping my GAL colony (I need them as a staple food for my glowworms)... I will check out, if this source may be cheaper than lime sold for gardening purposes. At the moment, I am still using cuttlefish bone though... 💸 The only alternative I tried so far for my isopods were crushed egg shells.

I know for a fact this works well for GALSs, and I assume it'll probably be cheaper than the limestone (though I don't know what prices for any of this stuff are like overseas, could be completely reversed).

What do you think about using dead coral? I have a bunch for a calcium reactor.

Never heard of anyone using that, but I assume it'd probably work quite well. Best way to find out is to try it yourself and see how your pods like it. :)
