As a math person as well as an art guy, it bothers me inordinately that your 0° is usually where the 180° goes, lol
@victoza923212 сағат бұрын
@CivilDefenseEngineer As someone well-versed in English grammar, I’m bothered by the fact that you began your sentence with a dangling modifier. 😁
@fotiskogias376412 сағат бұрын
That’s why I felt weird seeing 180 at the right side 😂 I was like it seems off. Thanks

Same background, same reaction, lol.

It is weird for many that mathematics begins the 0 at the 3 o'clock but it is common in many design programs too.

15 degree pizza is what my teacher gave to us in class to celebrate his birthday with the little amount of money he makes. It's a sweet gesture honestly.
@ProkoTV13 сағат бұрын
15° pizza is a top tier quantity of pizza in school. I've definitely gotten a sad 8° slice in an overcrowded birthday party lol

I'm happy that Proko is knee deep into the perspective grindset.

As an architecture student and an aspiring animator this will come in very handy!! I can already see myself using this trick for setting up grids.

Glad you found it useful!

Thank you for this! This seems much easier than using a protractor.

Proko I’m a big fan of your videos they inspire me to be a better artist , I tried to buy your books but it was to late😢 would you make more books for us, the ones we came late for ?
@ProkoTV5 сағат бұрын
We can't currently promise that there will be others available after the Kickstarter yet. We hope to but don't want to make a promise and then break it. We'll announce it here if that does happen.

BUT HOW DO I KEEP THE RULERS PLANE AND STABLE ENOUGH TO DO THIS ACCURATELY DOUGH 😭😭😭

A T-square will help you out nicely. We featured that and more in our previous perspective tools video here on KZbin: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpispoefqK6Ambc

Pretty sure that a calzone. Two chemists walk into a bar, the first chemist orders a glass of H2O, the second chemist orders a glass of H2O too. He died

Tip:- don't watch the video if you already have a protractor. I hope this helps.

We're scared for what you'll do if your protractor ever breaks 😂

I don’t get what the point of using the 2 triangles is.
@ProkoTV15 сағат бұрын
Each of the triangles normally has just a couple angles they're seen as being useful to make. But you can do SO many more perfect angle measurements with just one. Combining TWO enables you to make that full range of angle Marshall shows. It's not necessarily something you'll use every day but when you need those perfect measurements, those couple triangles will now let you do it all!

I have no idea how you precisely wrote down those angles using the rulers
@ProkoTV11 сағат бұрын
I have good news: This video is specifically teaching you about how to do that. Give it a couple more watches and you'll know how to just as well as Marshall does!

What an absolute waste of time. Who is this for, second-graders?
@ProkoTV13 сағат бұрын
"Who made this educational resource?? I already know about it so it's garbage that no one else should see!" 😂 You kinda nailed it, Stef! It is to teach a fundamental concept. But we don't think that's limited to a kid. Revisiting your basics is a great thing for anyone honing a skill. Like in a course, which this is.
