Well done. I love the personality of Valmont.

Calming is tres’ bein. Very excellent reading. The two digs at Sherlock at the end were very funny also. Must have been good fun making those and seeing what Doyal had to say afterward. Hahaha!

A lot probably, since Conan Doyle hated his own creation.

Totally brilliant especially as Valmont doesn’t always win. Can you publish more from this Robert Barr rather than he of Z Cars fame.👍

The only one I didn't like was In a Steamer Chair. So dreary, I had to give up on it!

I am so sick of reminders of that offensive british titles or royalty or 'lordship' - whatever it is that gives individuals solicitude and honor solely based on their birth - again OFFENSIVE
@terrysmith6791 Жыл бұрын
what a silly comment. What else offends you?

There have been titles such as "lord", "lady", "queen", "king", etc. in the UK for more than a thousand years. It's a cultural thing. If you are offended by this practice perhaps English literature is not for you.

Aww, diddums! Now that you've had your little tantrum, the grown-ups would like to listen to the story. P.S. Most Lords have their titles bestowed upon them not through hereditary means but for serving their country in some way but never mind, you hang on to your prejudices - that way the rest of us can know so much about you. And judging by your spelling, it's hard to know why it bothers you so much in any case.
