I've been to both. Autzen is louder than Tiger Stadium, and much that can be attributed to how it's configured. Crowd is right on top of the field, which is sunken, trapping all of the noise above the field of play. It's insane.

One of the best games I have ever seen at Autzen. Look at what has happened to these two teams since this game. The Ducks go back to back 12 win seasons while the beavs go back to back loosing seasons. GO DUCKS!

I would say oregon fans are a bit louder considering your stadium holds 90,000 + fans, and autzen holds 54,000, and is consistently ranked as one of the loudest stadiums in the country. Per person autzen is the loudest

I would expect LSU stadium to be louder. How many fans does your stadium hold? 90k plus? Autzen Stadium holds just over 54k and has a decibel reading of 127. Give me a higher reading from LSU's stadium. Not just the stupid "earthquake argument. If Oregon was closer to a fault line, it would have probably set off an earthquake as well. Anyways, not trying to start an argument. LSU beat Oregon. They capitalized on Oregon's mistakes, good job. Both good teams, with loud stadiums.

you have absolute no idea about Death Valley. LSU has consistely been the loudest stadium in college football. our night games make any of your prime time games against a top opponent look like shit. you have to have your stadium fixed in a way so your stadium can be loud. LSU its all about fans and Death Valley is louder than Autzen by a large margin

That being said, I've been to both, at field level, and Autzen was just as loud, if not louder than TS. I mean, I guess I could bore you to death, by opining on certain architectual acoustic characteristics of the two venues, but I doubt you would understand. This seems like it's extremely important to you, so I'll just say let's agree to disagree.

Yes, Oregon is in the top 100 in academics (as flawed as the rankings are) even when being a more liberal arts school and no, LSU isn't. You're never going to win an argument debating LSU's academic standing compared with nearly every BCS conference school. Stick to football.

this is shit. you want a ture gameday experience, go to LSU. it was named the best college gameday experience in all of football. we have the best tail gating, best and loudest and most passionate fans, and better tradition. LSU truely puts autzen stadium to shame, were louder than they are consitently and they get beat at home by USC. 40-27, LSU is always and will remain better.
