I am in the same delima, between Ohio State and Wright State. Wright State doesn’t have a club team or school team, so I may take the free education and start my own club

Many of the top prep schools in the MIAA in Maryland stress the same philosophy. You can go top 10 division 1, utilize lacrosse as a mechanism to get you into an out of state top University to get a great education , Duke, Chapel Hill, Brown, Harvard. If that doesn't work out, go for a great D 3 program that has a great academic reputation and high ACT scores to get the best education possible. Both are excellent plans. Either way you are attending top Universities to get a good education.

Great Vid! Great info. Top Tier D3 programs can definitely hang with the tier 2 D1 teams, Tufts beat Dartmouth the past few seasons (scrimmage) and Dartmouth went 500 2023 season. The decision often comes down to how much playing time is available for your skill set, If you're a D1 Talent you probably have a great chance to see the field 3-4 years D3, whereas D1 much more difficult especially at Top 25 D1 programs, ridiculously competitive, there are top recruits that barely see game time all 4 years. Keep up the good work Mitch, your videos are excellent. Hey, aren't you that MTV real world guy????
