Recording this documentary was a challenge! The warmth and the steam were complicated to manage for the cameras, but still we are proud of the work that we did. Thanks again Laura!

I was astonished how you captured everything in the steamy and hot sauna. Ultimate challenge for the camera, lens and the cameraman.

Really enjoyed this, actually wish it was a bit longer! Could easily see this becoming a shamanic ritual with Ayahuasca. 🖤

Thanks. Good video. Just want to add my five cents. Sauna is not something unique and popular only in Finland, A "banya" in all Slavic languages mean pretty much the same with variations. In Russia it is even more popular than in Finland and all surrounded Banyas' culture is significant part of the national culture. In Russian language there are lots of proverbs and sayings like .. keep away from people who does not like banya etc.😅. Surprising that we have so much in common, even the song those girls were singing is very similar to the Russian folklore song. Definitely Finns and Russians are way closer than they think.

It’s fascinating to see how the Nordic countries share common historical roots, and how these traditions are still alive today, with slight differences among them.😯 Thank you for your interesting comment and for watching 🙏🏻
