Peter & Venom don’t go well together because Peter is a peaceful person by nature, while Venom isn’t peaceful at all. Venom’s nature is different from Peter, and the two would have never worked it out. Eddie through, Eddie was the perfect second choice considering both Venom & Eddie were influenced by Peter. But actually, what we are missing here, is that “It’s Deadpool”. Deadpool is the one who was supposed to become the Black King. Because he was Venom’s first host.

nah, Peter is the beginning for Venom's journey. Considering we know the whole thing with Eventuality being Eddie/Venom just perpetually creating and destroying each other, we can surmise that Venom's journey started with Peter. Peter is what set Venom on the path of being different from any other symbiotes. Venom symbiote's journey is all about cleansing and growing. We see Venom take on a higher morality ground and be good and responsible. Basically, his ultimate form is the Anti-Venom. Just healing stuff and whatnot, a complete opposite of a symbiote (I mean duh). Eddie and Venom had to experience redemption. That basically kickstart their way into becoming the Eventuality. Otherwise, Eddie will just stay the say Eddie and Venom is just gonna be like any other scrub symbiotes. @@Alternative_Alba

I like how lights magicians are copies of the beyonders with them being cut off on the majority of people and emotions in high Towers looking down on everyone trying to control what happens from an outsider's perspective (cold logic). But at the same time, dark magicians are copies of the symbiote gods with them being connected with the environment following their emotions trying to control everything to their with a burning passion. You can see how both sides are not good or evil because you can see Heroes with burning passion like Spider-Man and you can see villains who have cold logic like Doctor Doom.

This has been a storyline that is sure to be counted among Marvel classics. Time travel and cosmic ascension isn’t easy to keep coherent at this scale, and I’d say they succeeded Marvelously. But poor Eddie. He still has to become Meridius and from the talk from the Seventh it looks like Eddie has to forsake the light and his son, after fighting so hard to rejoin him. Dark Eddie as Meridius will then have to learn a harsh lesson to achieve the moral neutrality of the Seventh. Poor Eddie has been being put through hell in this series. I really hope he sees some reward at some point, as I feel a bit guilty that the writer has me enjoying the characters suffering.

I was a young man when Venom debuted. He's a good villain. Good villains don't have to be deep. Then he got popular and over the years his star continued to rise. However Eddie was still a shallow character. That was a big reason to why he couldn't maintain a continuing series. In recent years current writers have done much to develop Eddie into a solid character. This storyline seems to be furthering that along. Thank you for the breakdown.

The way I see it is that the Beyonders are the writers of these stories, shaping the universe the way they want (like the time they used the enigma force to help venom defeat knull) On the other hand there are the unforseen events (like the sudden popularity of a character) that shape the universe. These could have been caused by the King in Black. Venom's existence is good example since his popularity was an accident. No one predicted that of these could happen when they gave spidey a black costume.

I was thinking of that same thing when I learned that Eddie was Knull. Makes me think of a story that I'm currently writing that has an inspiration of the first Final Fantasy game, where the beginning of the game is where the end of the game also took place, a constant loop if you may say BUT if Knull is actually Eddie... Who was Knull originally? Maybe it was Peter Parker that took on that path but as situations alter during loops of time, could one of those alterations change the course of Peter no longer being Knull, where Eddie took over. Kinda like in Terminator, where John Connor had a different father and the original timeline but once John Connor sent Reese into the past to save his mother from the Terminator, it altered who John's father would be. The Terminator franchise was kinda one of the stories that brought about the multiverse. Cause in the Earth: Prime of that franchise, it birthed a series of different outcomes. In one version of Terminator part 2, it had a deleted ending where things went perfect. Where in another, it birthed Rise of the Machines and Salvation. Then there was the paradox that technically shouldn't have happened with the death of John Connor cause if Skynet was destroyed, then the Terminator built from Skynet should have been erased before killing John as a teenager in Dark Fate. Then in another version that also birthed Genesis, Skynet was very aware and things got greatly altered. I know this was off topic of Knull but at the same time, still held some thought on the subject at hand. Knull had a different origin at one point, one that took place before Eddie became Knull and even before Peter may or have not been Knull. Something or someone created the symbiotes before all of this. Cause even if Peter Parker was Knull before Eddie became him, something cause abdominal effect prior. For all we know, Peter Parker (if later became Knull) or someone else could have used science to create the symbiotes (like how Norman created Venom to save his son, Harry in one variant timeline) and the story played out there but that variant that went into the past to then become Knull, came into the Earth timeline that we now see things here. Who knows, I been yapping too long. put a fork in me, I'm done😂

Peter/Spider-Man, isn’t Knull. Because both Eddie & Morius are fans of spider man. The 7th Symbiote was just saying that Peter would have been the greatest choice for the King in Black, because Peter’s nature is more peaceful then Eddie’s or Venom’s. But because Peter rejected Venom. His path to become King in Black was closed permanently. Thus everything brings us to Eddie, who’s nature is very erratic & twisted. Eddie seems to have grown a bit now. But he & 7th symbiote are Knull. It’s just how it happens. However they both are trying to not become Knull. To not become the thing that causes their time loop 🔁. And maybe, just maybe, Eddie can play it right this time.
