Completely agree. I didn't run it initially, had Fairy and Slime each at 2 and that was it for the new mons.. after one weekend at locals, realized that armor is great for extending further into the turns you may not draw the nuts.. I found myself in that situation many times that first locals when support came out, where i would break through their board, then finally begin to push, get throne out into Master but didn't have anything to extend because I used Fairy getting to that point.. Armor gives you that additional extension, the extra name, and honestly, given how Mimighoul operates, it's nearly as good as Fairy and basically always live. In that position, being able to extend after throne, summoning the Armor and either linking off into I:P, Rabbit, etc or going into Giant depending on board can make all the difference. I don't remember exactly what games/timestamp, but there were even a few games in this video where you see the exact thing I'm talking about happen, Jesse breaks through, gets going into his own push, goes into throne, summons master but had already used Fairy so he ends up adding for follow up for next turn(which isn't bad, but mimighoul has plenty follow up with room, dungeon, etc), if he had Armor, couldve overlaid into Giant one game iirc or linked off for a different option.. I haven't regretted making the change since, but always open to other opinions...

personally I think armor is worthwhile to run as a one-of since it's easier to summon than slime. I've had games where I end up needing one more body and armor is the only choice that works. these decks get tight on space though so I understand not everyone will want to run it.

I ve made a 60 card Mimighoul deck with snake eyes and fiendsmith plus board breakers and it is extremely good. Not the best way to play snake eyes but definitely the best way to play mimighoul. Honestly if your opponent doesn't have dominus impulse or even worse a droplet, then it's super though to loose. You brake boards like it's your business and your board is unkillable. Plus you don't loose to any mulcharmie too hard. Fuwalos is most of the times a hand loop for your opponent and purelia can hurt some hands but if you open ok it's pretty easy to play around. The deck dies to droplet rly hard that's all. With the other engines you don't care that much about impulse

Full snake eyes package (you need anima in extra deck for certain combos and to keep ash in the main deck for followup) without field. 2 Engraver 1 Lacrima 2 tract 1 lury. I play 5 bystials because they are great against the top meta decks (you instanwin Vs tenpai don't worry) Pluss the make easier going into chaos angel, 3 droll 3 droplet 3 talent 3 ruler and 1 azurune. Extra you have to play 1 copy of each xyz and the snake eye otk package, you play sp ip rabbit anima chaos angel (he is a must, it turnes fiendsmiths into board breakers going second.

At locals, I would suggest putting the monster that gets hit by Called by the Grave in the middle with a die on it to signify it's still negated. Though, I wouldn't do this if the card that put in banishment was a hand trap, since I wouldn't want to remind my opponent that the hand trap was negated and hopefully they will just go negative 1 for trying to use it. Pretty much, I would only use this strategy if I was the only one playing that card. Yes, it's a little scummy, but misplays are a part of Yu-Gi-Oh and a good way to learn from your mistakes.

After Halloween id love your Spin on dark magician. There is A LOT of engines to play along. Runick DM, Toybox, Red eyes fusion, bystial, ritual DM, fiendsmith, primite, dogmatika, invoked, adventure, branded, Chaos and of course pure. Not only that the deck can be played with multiple engines if need be but the real difficulty is to figure out the gameplan you want to take and build accordingly. So again im saying do Dark Magician in november please.

Oh absolutely. Especially when I go first and I've already done a normal summon to get to maker, I'll go archfiend and either angel or armor to allow me to continue to extend. The issue with slime is that it's a dead card if the opponent doesn't have more monsters on field and you can't normal it

​I don't understand, why would you go armor and fiend? When you use maker, you get a special summon off the maker. So theirs two scenarios. 1. You get armor and get to special him anyways 2. You flip armor with archfiend You end up with 2 monsters Instead you always go archfiend and slime if you don't got dragon because you have the following scenarios. 1. You get slime to hand archfiend to opponent special slime. 2. You get archfiend special him to flip slime to then special another mimighoul such as master search armor or fairy continue. Armor is good but slime is much better for maker. On draw armor is better, it's a good balance.

@@zerro6903 if you only have maker you always go archfiend + dragon, if you started with dragon to grab maker you go archfiend + slime, but armor would achieve the same here except for the extra body. This is the only scenario where slime is better than armor, in any other scenario armor is better because its a better extender.

I think Ninja is better for Mimighoul than Kashtira because Tobari the Sky Ninja is Lv.1 and can be used for your Mimighouls. If you play them with Sol & Luna you have a nice bridge for flipping Ninjas up and down and you Mimighouls aswell. I think with their Ninjustus, they provide more disruptions than Kashtira and Ninjas just as the Mimighoul extra deck monsters can attack directly which is pretty useful aswell.

Ive enjoyed playing dino/mimighouls. Kaitoptera will search the field spell letting you start the mimighoul combos after you get your dino board down.

There were a few instances in these games where it seems you forgot that Mimighoul Dungeon not only stops your opponent from Normal Summoning, but they also cannot attack with monsters that were special summoned that turn. For example, in that final game, they would have had to pop your dungeon or they couldnt have attacked with the Garunix they summoned off the Kirin

I am confuse how you flipped the slime after you played Mimighoul Maker @ 26:26. I looked it up and after resolution of maker, you can't activate it's GY effect because your opponent didn't special summon anything, its you who SS the slime onto their field.

You're correct but if ur opponent activated his from hand, the mimighoul you send to their side won't activate as it counts as their activation under impulse

The Kashtira synergy with forcing your opponent to flip the Mimighouls you give them, which activates their effects which causes the Kashtiras effects to go off is great, but I don't get how Fiendsmiths help Mimighouls, like what is the synergy they have or is it just because Fiendsmith is a solid small engine?

I play them and we'll say, don't allow them to add mimighoul room. Negate dragon and/or giant mimighoul to keep them from getting to room as it flips 1 of ur monsters down and sets up for dragon board wipe or master/ dragon search for follow up. Oh, and side droll and lock. Shuts all the adding

Mimighouls looks like a really fun archetype, so it's cool to see you experimenting with it. 1 suggestion I would make is to add in the LP totals in editing since you made several references to low LP, but since I can't see your LPs, I can't track how high or low it is.

What if, hear me out, what if they banned all of the extra deck omni-negate cards and limited all of the omni-negate main deck monsters to one (not including the ones that are already banned)? I think this would be very healthy for the game. IMO omni-negates should be incredibly rare for main deck monsters (even more rare than it currently is) and have heavy restrictions to either summoning the monster or using the effect. I'd be totally fine is they just got rid of omni-negates in general on monsters and only allowed counter traps to have them.
