man you aint never lie.... and see as a black person people sometimes look at me funny for not listening to a lot of RAP music. I like old hip-hop, R&B, pop, classical and some stuff from other countries (arabic, kpop, afro..) My ears do not discriminate if the vibe is there. I consider myself spiritual (non of that rock and crystal stuff tho) but not religious. My boyfriend likes all types of music including newer rap artists and a 21 savage song popped up on his youtube and he wanted to check it out and he said it was okay but to me i sat there thinking "its okay?!"... the lyrics I heard is just like wow.. promoting guns in the song and video, promoting only getting to the bag just like.. a lifestyle that I did grow up seeing in my family and to me that just was not/is not cute. and people aspire to be like this. a lot of these rappers get offed because of their music or street ways and its like.. thats just not cute. I get in the community it is really real the life that some of these young black people live BUT when we start seeing and hearing this stuff in the media it becomes normalized and i dont know its just not for me. I do listen to some Meg and some Rico Nasty here and there etc etc but it is not my main source of musical entertainment. Like you said we gotta pay attention because everything is frequencies.. Much love to you girlie!

Thanks so much for sharing! Yeah music is crazy how it alters things. I think personally there is a target on the black community with the music they push out and the ridicule you face when going against the mainstream. Keep being the shining star that is you! 🫶
