One thing I’d slightly disagree on is that it doesn’t matter that he’s being prosecuted because he did awful things and deserves it. First, he won’t _actually_ be punished for the crimes he’s committed. It’s all for show. Second, the show benefits the political class, who profit from the polarization that this sort of thing creates. It’s part of their divide and conquer strategy and it’s wildly successful at continuing the mental enslavement of the general public.

@@mustardseedsociety Thats unexplored territory. There’s nothing in the Constitution that forbids it. And I suspect he’d just pardon himself. But I doubt he’ll even go to prison. He’s got a strong case for appeal. And good attorneys can tie up the appeal process for years. Unless it’s thrown out quickly, he might die of old age before the appeals process even winds down.

It's a show. My concern is that it's an op to disclose the open and blatant corruption and have people continue to submit to an openly hostile and corrupt system, which is extremely dangerous. I respectfully must comment on this one. If any Anarchist wants a country left to establish Anarchy in then I humbly suggest it actually does matter. Also it's going to sort of be hard to establish Anarchy if we are in prison and not even allowed to talk about it lest our channels get summarily deleted. We have two statists to chose from, one will abuse us and keep the ship afloat and the other will chain us to the mast and sink it. Let's at least chose the one with whom we will still have a ship left worthy of mutiny. Putting a political opponent in prison right before an election is beyond the pale even for power hungry corrupt statists. Being taxed to death and kneeling in front of a ditch soon to be the grave is NOT the same thing. Being an Anarchist does NOT give us the right to say everything else is equivalent. It is NOT ! Our justice system, as much as it sucks, is all we have. I myself served on a jury which prevented the police from putting a young man in prison the rest of his life based on the testimony of one officer. If we had not been there he would be reading this note from his cell. Please tell him that none of this matters.
