The John in Rev wasn't the friend of Jesus...he didn't even recognize him, I'd think I would be able to identify my bf if I had seen him. Unless it was a vivid dream where someone "looks" like someone but when when you wake up you're not really sure, you might have thought it was a certain friend, but you not really sure.
