I just got my new fender strat player series but for some reason I can't hear a difference in sound when I use the pickup switch (also with tone/volume knob on max) Does anyone know why that is? Thanks

Either your ear just isn't hearing a difference, which is possible depending on your experience, or your guitar has been wired badly. If its the latter then take it back to the shop.

Blues is the foundation of modern music,its black music or classical music on this side of the planet I choose rock and roll R&B blues etc.it will never be irrelevant.Tried dancing to Khatia Buniatishvilli playing classical piano, there was no rhythm to move to,tried dancing to shredding music I fell down.

I think blues is probably the worst choice of music if you want to get an audience’s attention and gain a following. Just because certainly in the uk, 99% of live music is blues and personally although I love good blues I’m so bored of seeing musicians playing it live.
